Such a wide range of food to BBQ from large prawns to beautifully marbled beef. Was thrilled to find raw beef and a good selection of sashimi tuna, scampi, squid & scallop. too bad there wasn’t any uni. Free parking on Miller St & surrounds on Sunday.

Visited this restaurant during their soft opening at the new location. The decor was really nice with open kitchen. However they no longer offer the wagyu buffet. The tuna and salmon sashimi (6 pieces) took nearly an hour to arrive (it arrived last when we have already finished the BBQ). The stone pot for bibimbap wasn’t hot enough and the rice was soggy. Wagyu beef was good but the oil was spitting out onto us while cooking maybe due to design of the BBQ. We spent $120 per person and didn’t feel it was good value. My husband said he really misses the old Rengaya!

We visited on the soft opening night. We’re very excited after a long wait since it closed down from the original premises. The decor is grand with high ceiling and more window view seats. It also has a sashimi / wagyu bar which customers can see the action of the busy staff cutting wagyu and sashimi. Completely new menu. Certainly more pricey but the marble 9-12 Australian wagyu are of really good quality. The same with the sashimi. Basically you pay for what you get. Service is very messy though. Staff are either not familiar with the new ordering / payment system or it’s not working. We’re their first customers. Very messy service. A few items we ordered didn’t come. Wrong orders were sent to us. Keep chasing drinks etc. I’ve recommended my friends to hold on visiting to wait for the grand opening in early Nov hopefully things should smooth in by then.
