Staff were excellent, especially considering with our little kids. Food and wine were ok, nothing amazing.

I used to visit 317 regularly but have moved out of the area so was looking forward to visiting again. Despite pre-booking weeks ago & being called on the day to be told our table wouldn’t be available til half hour later, on arrival it took 3 waitstaff to find our reservation, before we waited for a table to leave so our party of 5 could be squeezed on a table for 4 out the back near the bathrooms. From there the incompetence continued through out the evening. The highlight would have to be when a waitress with a large bag of take away food slung over her shoulder came & awkwardly dumped a pizza & pasta on our table - we asked which pasta it was & she shrugged, said she didn’t know & walked off, not to be seen again, hitting the table next to us on her way with the take away bag. We assumed it was a vego pasta & my friend dipped her fork in just as another waitress arrived & announced the vego pasta & a few other dishes & left. We then realised it wasn’t our meal & pushed it to the end of the table. Several minutes later a waiter passed by & we told them the meal wasn’t ours. They picked it up, exchanged a few words with another waiter & then went & served it to another table!!! The food itself ranged from ok (pizza) to terrible (tough sinewy lamb shanks). At the conclusion of the meal when I paid the bill, the waiter asked how everything was I shrugged my shoulders & said “it was an experience”, to which he echoed “oh it was an experience hey” took my money and that was it. What a complete joke this place is. And if you clearly don’t care about how a meal went - don’t bother asking, its much less offensive.

Good service and tasty food

Have been here before on a Friday night as a group of 7 and was impressed with the food, drinks and service. Based on that I recommended dinner here to some friends, we were a group of 4. Unfortunately this time around was disappointing. Service was slow even though there were empty tables around us, food was bland and drinks overly sweet (all 6 cocktails). We ordered a nutella crepe for dessert which didn’t seem freshly made and did not have any nutella. Also they brought us 2 servings even though we only ordered one so we sent the other one back and ensured it wasn’t charged.

Dessert was awful. Must have changed chefs since my last visit. Apple Crumble was gritty". Creme Brulee tasted as though it was poured straight out of a carton, runny custard texture, not made with real eggs and hardly any vanilla flavouring. Nutella and marshmallow pizza came without marshmallows, they were requested and brought to the table in a bowl. GF tiramisu was very ordinary, previously it has been excellent. Not going back.
