Meet the Chef
Born in Japan, Tomoyuki’s passion for cooking began when he was 8 through helping his mum. He trained in classic and modern French restaurants in Japan before moving to Sydney.
He gained his experience working at some of Sydney’s well-known restaurants before moving to Paris to work in a 3 Michelin star restaurant.
Returning home, Tomoyuki began refining his style and experience to his own venue Restaurant Plage, priding itself on being simple, using seasonal produce and a creative flair.

A simple yet inviting space welcomes all patrons to Plage, a restaurant that specialises in the key flavours of Japan and France. The dishes have been well thought out, where flavours have been put together to match perfectly and portions that have been considered to leave you appreciating all the dishes. The menu is modern and simple, but still radiates sophistication and elegance. The flavours are interesting and the dishes are visually beautiful. You will not be disappointed at Plage in Cremorne.
