The waiters were extremely nice and professional, they treated us extremely well, even though we clearly came with a discount. The food was very tasty, I recommend the lamb chops with potato gnocchi, sided with Madeira's traditional garlic butter bread. Despite being in an extremely touristic area, the restaurant itself takes really good care of it's produce and their clients. Totally recommend

A good restaurant offering a fine-dining experience without overdoing it. Linen, good service, some nice extras etc. Sopa de camarao was very tasty and both fish dishes well executed. Wine by the class is not me tioned in the list, but is available et 4€. They have also a pizeria next door for more informal setting. Good value promo.

Nice restaurant and worth a visit.

An exquisite meal with a very warm welcoming staff. The atmosphere was excellent and the decor very pleasing. You couldn’t be made more comfortable. Will visit again.

Fabulous restaurant, the decor and table settings are beautiful, we were greeted by a courteous waiter who dealt with us all night, he was polite and knowledgeable. The food was amazing and presented so beautifully. A complimentary glass of wine on arrival and Madeira wine to finish. I would highly recommend this restaurant

Very good quality food and drink, excellent service provided by young waiter. Ordered off the al a carte menu , fillet steak was cooked perfectly and very tasty . There is a concept menu for 35 euro which looks good value , but didn’t order that as wasn’t that hungry. Would recommend you give it a try .

A nice restaurant with service from a friendly and professional staff. The food is good and nicely presented. For people whom want to eat a three course meal they have a great offer, E 35,- a la carte incl. wines, water and coffee. There's both inside and outside seating.

Nice place. Decent food. Had to wait quite a while, but it was worth it.

Presented with a half glass of sparkling rose wine, which was very welcome whilst reading the menu. The menu offers a few dishes for each course. We were not disappointed in any of our choices. My only negative observation was that not all portions were equal, there were differing amounts of meat or fish and vegetables between the tables. We had good sized portions so no complaints from us. There were little flies around indoors too, who enjoyed a nibble on my feet!! We would visit again as the food quality was excellent. It is a little expensive in comparison to nearby restaurants though.

The biggest disappointment was we were the only people in the restaurant. The food was excellent and the waiter was very charming. Lacked atmosphere. We would go again but make sure there were more people eating.

We are living on the island and like to try different restaurants. We have been here before and wanted to know if it would be as good as our first time, it was!. This is a very nice restaurant, just a little bit outside the main tourist walking area and not your average "tourist trap". The menu is relatively small which we like, we are of the opinion that a restaurant with a lot of dishes on the menu is mediocre with all of them. We had the lamb, cooked medium and it was delicious so was the Tiramisu. The white housewine is very nice and the service friendly and professional. This restaurant deserves to be much busier, it's a lot better than many of the tourist traps and that all for a reasonable price. I would say Try it!!

Nice food once again. Shrimp bisque was tasty but lacked depth of flavour in terms of prawn. Lamb main course was very good- perfectly cooked and tender.

Booked this last minute and glad we did. Couldn’t fault the meal and service in any way. We had the shrimp ravioli to start and filet of beef for main. Both were excellent and well presented. Worth a visit!
