Very good food. Tasting and fresh. Menu could be more extensive. Portion size is good. Service was very good, attentive, courteous and efficient staff. Funny and approachable and the atmosphere overall was excellent.
Beautiful setting and beautiful food. The wait staff are friendly and the food comes out so quickly.
Excellent food and OK service and wonderful setting. But the experience was totally spoiled by the noise level from other patrons, especially noisy groups of men and women with no thought for others, either for their comfort or even their ability to hold a quiet conversation, We will think twice before returning.
Wonderful historic setting with a Beautiful view. Wait staff were friendly and helpful. Food was very good and the midweek lunch deals were excellent!
Really nice location and service! Food was good but could have been better . Perhaps the set menu for race limited us from exploring the full range. May come back for another special occasion
The location is a bit remote however the view is amazing and staff is very friendly. Food is great will come back and visit again definitely!!!!!
Always great food & services!
Beautiful view of SYDNEY Harbour! Great food choices and BYO wine which is always a plus! Great service friendly staff. You must book ahead though because it’s very popular.
Lovely location with friendly staff. The food was good. My steak was done well. I felt the barramundi could have had a better accompaniment. Oysters were delicious!
A perfect location for lunch to celebrate a special occasion overlooking beautiful Sydney Harbour. Staff were friendly and helpful and the food was well-presented and flavoursome. The daily lunch special is a good deal. Also the bush track walk from the upper car park was enjoyable.
Service was exceptional
I love the view and the ambience of this place. It was the perfect place to take my friend for her birthday as a surprise. The food and service was impeccable...
Great evening celebrating a 50th Birthday!
Fabulous spot, great food and a really friendly team running it. Would definitely recommend
Lovely place and great that it’s BYO. Have been going for the last 4 years and it doesn’t disappoint.
Fantastic food, location and service at Ripples Chowder Bay.
Have been here many times and will keep coming back again and again. Love everything about it.
Food and service was fantastic, looking forward to coming back!
Food was excellent. Service started off great but was hit and miss towards the end of the evening.
Building 7 7 Chowder Bay Road, 2088, Mosman, Australia
Waterfront wonder Ripples Chowder Bay, located in Mosman, is on the Taronga Zoo to Balmoral foreshore walk, and offers magnificent views of the famous Clifton Garden’s Bay. Its opening marked a momentous occasion, as it was the first time in over hundred years that the general public could enter this historic space, once reserved for secret military operations to defend Sydney Harbour. Featuring a Modern Australian menu with Italian influences, Head Chef Kristian Gamble uses only the freshest seasonal produce to create simple flavoursome dishes. Diners have a wonderful selection of share plates, pastas and more substantial mains to choose from.
Perfect for dining with a group, a special celebration or a nice romantic meal for two, Ripples Chowder Bay has become one of the top favourites amongst Mosman, Cremorne and Neutral Bay locals.
