Excellent
Excellent food, service and value.
Very happy overall thank you
It was so good, I am now making another booking.
What can I say? This place is consistently good. The view is to die for. The food is well prepared. I would like to see a little more variety on the menu but that's just me. Highly recommend it.
A great way to spend a summers evening, a short stroll along the harbour under the bridge before sitting down to a really nice meal in a brilliant location. One of fave restaurants in Sydney.. love that it is BYO
Ambiance was great and the staffs are very welcoming. The food was really good too. Everything was beyond our expectation. They also have drawing paper to entertain our 3 year old daughter. We'll definitely come again.
Amazing food, location and service. Never disappoints!
Yum food, generous servings, despite the rain a great evening!
This visit was a friends' Xmas get-together and we couldn't have picked a better place to celebrate. From the get-go with appropriate COVID checkin to our leisurely departure, our visit was seamless on all counts. Whilst the location with a spectacular view of Sydney harbour would have to be the best feature of this restaurant, it is followed in a close second position by an ability to bring your own wine at a reasonable corkage charge. On this occasion, ordering and delivery of the food was timely and although the restaurant was almost full, the waiters were attentive in pouring and topping up the wine. Will be making plenty more visits to this excellent restaurant in the coming year.
Iconic location, great service, and good food. What’s not to love.
Awesome place to catch up for lunch with an old friend. Food was great albeit filling. Service helpful and unobtrusive. Location was lovely
Amazing views and fantastic service. Shame the food doesn’t hit the expectations. It was possibly the worst risotto I’ve ever eaten... no texture, flavour..a soggy mess on a plate.
It was a great spot to have a nice meal or coffee. The staff were very friendly and attentive too.
One of the hottest and windiest days makes an outdoor venue uncomfortable. The staff tried in the main and the food was good.
This restaurant is one of my favourites being top notch in setting, ambiance and service. Due to Covid I had not been to the restaurant for some time and whilst all the main attributes already mentioned were in place and most enjoyable, I was a little disappointed with the sides accompanying our main of barramundi. Whilst the fish itself was lovely, fresh and beautifully cooked, the sides of pickled shallots and krispy kale failed to excite. Not everyone is enamoured of "modern cuisine". I was also disenchanted with the cheese plate which consisted of two slivers of bland, tasteless, processed-looking cheese served with white bread charred on a grill. Not at all impressed! Anyhow, these two criticisms aside, I am definitely keen to return but will avoid the sour shallots, the krispy kale and the insipid cheese plate!
Top view, top position, food not as good as before
Always very welcoming and friendly service and beautifully presented food which is always delicious. My favourite restaurant! Will keep coming back.
Perfect afternoon at Ripples. Good food and service...especially loved the Barramundi. Nice atmosphere, even in the rain. Looking forward to returning.
Service was the best. Thanks Sammy & Margot!
One of the best locations in Sydney and great food and service to match!

What a ripper!
Rain, hail or shine, Ripples Milsons Point boasts unrivalled views of Sydney Harbour, making it the perfect destination to soak up the city’s famous sights all year round. The café design encapsulates the essence of relaxed Sydney dining and offers innovative Italian inspired dining, friendly service and breath taking views. Dine here and you’ll be sucked into playing ‘tourist’ (even if you’re a Sydney local), because views like this simply scream out for pretty pic to be taken. Water views? Tick. Affordable good food? Tick Tick. It’s no wonder Ripples is a much loved favourite amongst Kirribilli, North Sydney and Lavender Bay locals.
