2/10Very disappointed - food was not that great but what ruined my night was ordering a mocktail (as I am heavily pregnant) and realising when I drank it that they actually put alcohol in it.

3/10Service lacked enthusiasm and the steaks were undercooked. In this price range it was far less than expectation

3/10Unfortunately the food was terrible, not just in flavour which was horrible but it was also cold. Some staff members were nice and tried to be helpful where others lacked.

Not Just for Truckies
This place isn't quite the pit stop you might expect from the name. It's part of the Rydges Atura Hotel in Prospect, near Blacktown. It's far enough away from the M4 motorway not to hear the traffic or smell the petrol fumes. It's an idiosyncratic little place with friendly staff who do their very best to be as helpful as they can. If you arrive with a big appetite, the 250g New York Sirloin is 100% certified grass fed Angus. For those with an even bigger appetite, the 500g Giant T-bone is, likewise, guaranteed to be grass fed Angus. For wimps with little tummies, they also do a 180g fillet that is no less grass fed Angus than the other two. This is a place that likes to weigh their meat so if you have the pork chop you'll know you're getting 300g of it. If you're not so fond of meat, try the Tuscan Minestrone, which comes with crusty sourdough bread.
Best dish: Classic Roadhouse Angus Burger.
