I've been here several times as well as to branches in Melbourne and Perth. Food and wine selection is excellent. I just found our waiter had a very snooty attitude that really left a sour taste in my mouth.

I went last night for my boy friend's birthday, it was a wonderful night , the restaurant always busy, but staffs still looked after us very well, we will back again.

Great art deco building, I even had one of the staff show me around the whole restaurant including all the private dinning rooms.

While it was quite nice and the food nice.I was a little disappointed in my steak..asked for medium and it was very rare. Other parts meal very nice. I didnt find the venue anything startling...being just a large room with no views and lots people so not really intimate. On the whole I guess it didnt come up to expetations

Perry has been outspoken about his passion for fresh, quality produce and the menu at Rockpool Bar & Grill is a testament to this. Every item – from the Reuben sandwich on the bar menu to the Tasmanian Spiny Lobster Thermidor on the main menu – is made from the best ingredients the chefs could get their hands on, and you can tell. But coming here is not just about the food. The service is oh-so-smooth and the venue is spectacular, located in a glorious art deco building, so coming here makes you feel truly special. Also, we love the list of house rules at the beginning of the bar menu, which reminds diners to behave themselves (eg “Leave your attitude with your hat at the door”). It is a bit of a throwback to an earlier, better-mannered era, and we are certainly not complaining. Best Dish: David Blackmore’s Full Blood Wagyu Hamburger with Bacon, Gruyere Cheese and Zuni Pickle
