Please do more exclusive set menu’s. The truffle season set menu for this July was a singlet incredible. The service was so good and the atmosphere was perfect.

Amazing food and service perfect for a special occasion!

The service was excellent, but the food didn't live up to expectations or the price. The starters were very good, but the signature steak was very undercooked and gristly, the roast pumpkin side was so undercooked and hard that we could hardly cut it. Its a shame as we have had both these dishes before and they have been great.

Quite nice but not worth the $$$. Do not recommend if you like steak cooked past medium rare as kitchen and/or waiters will refuse to do so. If in Melbourne probably worth waiting to visit that version instead.

Excellent as always. Slight mark downs for a very long wait at the bar, even though it was mostly empty; and for a shabby upholstery on the dining room chair.

We celebrated a birthday at the venue, and enjoyed the evening very much. Service was mostly on point, and not intrusive. We enjoyed the kingfish starter and our steaks very much. Recommended for occassions and a good dining experience.

Parry with Perry Neil Perry has been king of the Sydney food scene for decades – and Rockpool Bar & Grill showcases all the reasons why. This chic eatery has all right elements to create the perfect dining experience. First of all, there is the food. Perry has been outspoken about his passion for fresh, quality produce and the menu at Rockpool Bar & Grill is a testament to this. Every item – from the Reuben sandwich on the bar menu to the Tasmanian Spiny Lobster Thermidor on the main menu – is made from the best ingredients the chefs could get their hands on, and you can tell. But coming here is not just about the food. The service is oh-so-smooth and the venue is spectacular, located in a glorious art deco building, so coming here makes you feel truly special. Also, we love the list of house rules at the beginning of the bar menu, which reminds diners to behave themselves (eg “Leave your attitude with your hat at the door”). It is a bit of a throwback to an earlier, better-mannered era, and we are certainly not complaining.
