Food and service was excellent. The cost was high, but we knew that when we booked. The wagyu steak was delicious and tender. The girl who serviced us was delightful and attentive. It was a great experience, but I’m not sure we could afford it on a regular basis.
The atmosphere inside of the restaurant is so dark with minimalist of lights . Staffs are doing their job as told . However, staffs could be more helpful by not being so grabby . Should be more patience . And let guests decide what they want to order . I wasn’t happy with my Rib Eye steak . It was burn and taste a bit bitter . I’m not really enjoy eating it . Staffs could see it from the left over foods I leave behind . And for my drinks , drink should be more presentable by adding a fresh cut pineapple rather dry one . I am not sure if ever return . It is a bit disappointed . I hope all of you could do better in the future endeavours. It’s Neil Parry place that we’re talking about . If you knew what I meant
We had the most wonderful evening. Food was amazing, our waiter Enzo was fabulous and they surprised us for our anniversary. Thank you we loved it
The tortellini was delicious
Rockpool consistently serves one of the best steaks in Perth and is known for their attentive service. However today was a bit of a miss as we found a piece of plastic in one of our side dishes. Otherwise an enjoyable meal.
Delicious food - always reliable for perfectly cooked steaks. Atmosphere is non existent during Sunday lunch service which can be a positive if you don't like hustle and bustle.
Amazing food and wine. Top service from all staff
Very expensive, noisy restaurant, average service and the food was no better than other top class restaurants. We are unsure as to why this place is so popular.
Table was too small and also too close to the next couple
Was very nice how ever was much better on our first visit , better service. Maybe just a few less staff this time around
I wish the seating was a little bit more spread out so it would have felt more of an intimate dining experience. However the food was delicious and the service was fantastic
The filet steak was the best I’ve eaten.
loved dining in the bar section. service was just as attentive. was given the option to order from the bar menu and full menu.
Top notch service. The staff were great. Champagnes were nice. Atmosphere was pleasant. Only fault I found was the steak was not quite medium well but they did pre warn me of that as was the 1kg tbone. Absolutely nailed the searing though. Food was good. I enjoyed it regardless. All around a great night. Value for money is adequate especially fair considering the venue/service. My partner and I will be returning for our next celebration.
Booked 2 months in advance for special night - got table under bright lights next to kitchen. We did get moved to a better more intimate table but service was nonexistent, atrocious and embarrassing. Had to ask for everything including bread..... (This took 10 minutes of continuous hand waving and excuse mes) Had booked special night for Christmas but will now cancel. Just felt like another typical Perth tourist spot where the locals suffer because we don't matter - there will always be a tourist at the Casino!! PS watch when you order the wines as we ordered a French Pinot Noir that was under the unseen heading Rose section - so we got a Rose. Damn...
The $55.00 special lunch menu is very disappointing the presentation of each dishes was awful quantity disappointing. Theyboth look like a wet towel on a plate. Not worth the money. However the scallops and oysters from the a la carte menu we took as entree were very good. They opened a second bottle of sparkling water without asking whether we wanted one more. The staff was just not that welcoming. .
Poor service 1 hour wait for entree for 2 this was cold and not cooked. Mains were poor quality and did represent descriptions . Over pretentious staff who considered themselves to know better. Restaurant was not full approx 12- 15 tables .
We didn’t really enjoy the Confit Wagin Duck Tagine.
The food and service was amazing!

It all adds up
Neil Perry is one of Oz’s preeminent (and most successful) chefs and after decades on the East coast he has opened up this fine-dine bar and grill in Perth’s Burswood casino precinct. The gorgeous dimly-lit interior with its chic and sleek decor will put you in the mood for nothing but the best. It’s really an up-market restaurant that does barbecue like only the pros know how. The wood-fired meat and seafood includes Wagyu beef, sterling caviar, swordfish and spicy mussels. And they really takes care to use meat that hasn’t been pumped full of hormones or antibiotics, selecting only the finest beasts. After all, it’s the finer details that count towards a perfect culinary experience! Our favourites include the spicy and nut-stuffed vegetable tagine, and the tripe sautéed in tomato, ginger, chilli and pecorino. Bring your lover to this magical place, or treat your mother on her birthday. It’s a fine-dining evening for a truly special night out.
