Great location and building. Phenomenal wine list and menu. Personally didn't make the best choice of dish but across the table of 4 everything was very good.
Efficient service and good (but very expensive) food. Th emenu and wine list is extensive but the wines are very overpriced compared to cellar door
Bone marrow entree was well recommended by staff. Found the mains a little salty. The splice dessert was wonderful. Staff were mostly attentive and we sat in a quiet area as requested. A fine restaurant!
A beautiful experience. The food, staff and wine list are amazing, however some of the customers were basically wearing t-shirts and shorts, thongs etc. I was not expecting that. It seemed to bring the whole vibe/ambience down a notch.. But I guess that's a personal preference..
Beautiful location, attentive service and brilliant food! We could not have asked for a better experience for our anniversary. We are looking forward to coming back!
Amazing food and service
Beautiful heritage setting. Buzzing atmosphere. Food and wine was excellent, including a side of boiled mixed greens which was suprisingly tasty.
Good vibe but a bit overpriced for mediocre servings.
Wonderful restaurant! Took a while to take our order but food was very delicious!! Wine list was very spectacular! Would come back again for another special occasion.
Once seated forgotten about. Spent $240 on a bottle of bubbles only to sit on an empty glass for 20 mins. For the $$ spent food service was rushed. Very disappointing evening.
Great food and customer service
My favourite place to eat, the whole experience is always 5 stars from the service through to desert, I’m never disappointed, which is why I keep coming back!
A beautiful Restaurant in an old bank building the food is excellent with great service from friendly staff have been several times before & keep going back especially when entertaining visitors
We got there on time and yet our table was still 30 mins late, i think this is a tactic to get you to go to the bar. The food lacked flavour and my steak was diced when it came to me, i never asked for it to be cut, i wanted to do that myself.
Food was very nice and great portion sizes.
Great staff, not pretentious, friendly and helpful. Loved the food. We ordered way too much but then they offered for us to take home.
Excellent food - each dish was a winner! We had the crudo, sauteed prawns, john dory, lamb and hanger steak, with Sebago potatoes and side salad. Would recommend every dish. As we exceeded our two hour seating limit, we had our desserts in the bar section which was fine. The rhubarb and strawberry pudding was to die for.
First time at Rockpool Bar & Grill. As expected high class service, great good and wine selection. Was able to trust the waiter to recommend a good wine to accompany with my dry aged steak. Would come again.
Great food and service as always.
Rockpool is a fine dining institution easy to overlook with the plethora of options in Sydney Glad we visited. The service is simply impeccable and the setting fitting for any special celebration. We really enjoyed our meal, especially the dry aged cape grim t-bone steak with the sides.
