We had the 12 course degustation. Most of the dishes were good, but a few were not.

Good food, not fantastic. Nice evening, not amazing. Nothing was bad. But nothing was outstanding. For a 5 course degustation I had higher expectations for what I received. Bar tender was very knowledgeable. Margarita was perfect

Really nice location, beautiful restaurant. Service slow, our waiter was doing section, runner and bartender, so he didn't put so much attention in the maintenance of the table, not only us even the table next to us, left with empty glasses and plates for ages. I guess not enough staff. Food was good, specially the onion soup, the range valley strip loin too dry. I Suggest to roster more staff and to put a little bit more effort.

Service and parking was great. We came as we saw it had one multiple food awards and had very high expectations. While service was up to it, the food was disappointing, we thought. We shared the below plates between 2. 1. hiramasa yellow tail kingfish sashimi, pea puree, compressed cucumber, apple snow - $24 - this was very nice 2. memories of mums french onion soup - $18 - again, lovely 3. hapuku cooked in chicken fat, butter braised turnip, walnut cream, jus gras - $28 - nice again, but not WOW worthy for us 4. (can't remember full name) but some sort of lamb - $? - this was where it went downhill for us, it was extremely salty which in retrospect we should had talked to our waitress about but we were worried it would had been rude to complain. This was the dish we enjoyed the least and wouldn't get again. 5. 150g rangers valley beef strip loin, horseradish emulsion, barbecued kipfler potatoes, soured onions -$ 42 - While the steak was divine, we found the seasoning on the veges too heavy and again quite salty. 6. flavours of lemon lime and bitters, lemonade marshmallow, bitters meringue, frozen lime cream, lemon myrtle sorbet - $14 - this was our favourite dish, we almost got a second one. and this one really redeemed the previous faults. In summary, bit disappointed from our originally very high expectations. Dessert comes superbly recommended.

The food was presented beautifully but unfortunately our mains were luke warm and the duck was a strange texture, they assured me it was cooked when I questioned it but I would have liked it cooked more so it wasn't gelatinous.
