    Presentation of staff greeting guests to a French restaurant not acceptable, welcoming 2nd class, staff dress code not in a French way to representing a French style. Menu choices had no reference to French cuisine let alone the flavours, no tantalizing the taste buds in theses meals. We have never been so disappointed In a French meal Since enjoying a genuine experience from restaurants in Paris including the Eiffel Tower. We were so looking forward to enjoying our evening in your restaurant, sad to go home disappointed

    We were looking forward to eating at room81 after investigating the restaurant online and seeing how great the food looked in the pictures. We were greeted to a relatively pleasant atmosphere, it lacked some warmth and lighting could have been better. Although we have made a Booking, the waitress that greeted us didn’t know where we would be seated and we had to wait. Not such a problem but not a great impression. We were seated and found it quiet cold in the restaurant considering it was winter and also cold outside we didn’t feel comfortable enough to take our jackets off. I also noticed most of the other guest had chosen to keep their jackets and warmer layers on. The menu was OK, but not what we were expecting. In general it was lack lustre with average options especially on the starters menu. I had the pork cutlet and my friend had the chicken. Neither of us had Much to say about the dishes except they made us feel extremely full. I had ask twice for refills of my glass and for salt and pepper as the food was so bland. The desert was a highlight from the evening but again nothing special in chocolate Brownies... all in all a wasted 178 dollars on an average meal I could have made My self at home. Very disappointing.

    Fantastic modern setting with pictures of France and French music. Fabulous food and a lovely waiter. Really good value {lunch special 2 courses with wine $40 and the scallops especially were superb} We will be back.

    Apparently, last night was the first outing of a new tapas menu. Don’t bother. Over priced, tiny portions. After spending over $125.00 on dinner we had to make sandwiches when we got home just to feel satiated. Zero value for money. Lots of other much better value dining options in Broadbeach.

    We enjoyed the 5 course degustation with matched wines. The portions were quite generous so we felt it was just enough for us. Each course was thoughtfully put together and full of flavour. Service was lovely. Happy to recommend.

    Good food, not fantastic. Nice evening, not amazing. Nothing was bad. But nothing was outstanding. For a 5 course degustation I had higher expectations for what I received. Bar tender was very knowledgeable. Margarita was perfect
