It was very disappointing to have 2 items on the "classics" menu not available. 3 of the 5 of us had to reorder, and one of us had to reorder FOUR times due to unavailability. The salad they ended up with wasn't even completely eaten as it was bitter, and this person stated they will never go back. A shame as we were all really looking forward to the night out as it doesn't happen very often.

We have eaten at a few places in Darwin, but Rorkes is by far the best for service, food and atmosphere. I have already booked to go back. Excellent !!!!

Keep trying thus place to see an improvement but the food is just sub par. Medium rare scotch fillet was medium at best and my partner's salad lacked flavour and seasoning.

About Rorkes Beer Wine Food

Gold walls and DIY beer Self serve beer on tap. Yep. It’s a draw card that’s for sure. But so too are the golden walls that adorn the inside of the building. Yep. This is no ordinary pub. Located on the corner of Smith and Bennett Street and praised as the new shiny bar in town, Rorkes is the place where all locals want to be. So how does the self serve tap work exactly? Well, patrons pre-load their cash on to a card, which is then placed in a card reader on to the tab. On an interactive screen you can watch how much beer you’ve poured, order more alcohol, and even order your food. The best part is, you don’t have to spend everything in one go. The card is yours to keep for future visits. With DIY beer and great pub food, Rorkes is expected to explode with popularity. Just watch.
