Wait service in the upstairs section was very average for this level of restaurant.

Food was really nice and good portions, desert menu could be better, not much to choose from

Great service, just not enough staff on - they were doing their best though!

Very disappointed! We ordered 1 x spaghetti bolognese; 1 x whiting fillets (Market price); 1 x potato side; 2 x soft drinks. The bill came to ~$120. We were not told that the market price for the whiting fillets (of which there were 4 small fillets on the plate with nothing else) would cost $48 for that one dish. The bolognese (at $30) was also more like an entree size, just a bit bigger. Understand it is in the CBD of Sydney, but was basically a rip-off for the amount of food and drinks we ordered. Wouldn't go back on principal!

Food tasted awful, it was cold and waiter was rude

Overall great flavours, wines and attentive staff. Starters were excellent. Portion sizes for pasta were a little small. Given the restaurant calls itself a trattoria, bread ought to have been replenished more regularly/ with every course.

We dined on a Sunday evening. The restaurant was not busy but the service was very slow. Took ages for any waiter to see us waving our hands wanting to order. The food came too quick in between courses, what's the rush??

Went to Rosetta for a father’s day lunch and was disappointed by the experience. The food was a touch salty and the service was lacking although the restaurant was not that busy. We had to remind our waiter a few times that we had ordered top ups of our drinks and a request for some warm water was denied and cold water given in its place. Just the simple things here would make the experience so much better.

About Rosetta Sydney

Rosetta is one of Australia’s most elegant and sophisticated Italian restaurants, which combines impressive interiors with professional and authentic service, and a seasonally driven menu of Neil Perry’s favourite regional recipes from his extensive travels through Italy. Rosetta is located in the stunning Harry Seidler designed Grosvenor Place at the northern end of the CBD. The interior design and styling plays on the restaurant’s graceful contours, with a curved wall of floor-to-roof windows filling the restaurant with natural light and enhancing an Amalfi Coast inspired palette of emerald green and sapphire blue. The sweeping terrace and bar overlook the city with views to the harbour. An all day bar menu is brimful of antipasti and pizzettes, alongside playful cocktails and an array of beautiful Italian wines.
