I would have liked to have described the restaurant as a neighborhood gem however the interior has more like a cafeteria feel than a trendy eatery. I think you have the opportunity to make it super and I would look at restaurants in Hawaii or LA of a similar ilk To understand what can be done to make it a little more interesting and cosy. Nothing over the top just to give the place more of a personality. Nothing to yachty neccesarily just something to break up the cafeteria . I hope I am being constructive.

Waitress services were very good. We have a problem with a seafood dish in that there was a broken mussel shell. The symbol M on the menu was construed as medium serve rather than members. Maybe we did not read enough.

This place was a big disappointment. It has all the ambience of a country town pokies pub with laminate tables and a big screen showing endless sports. The view of the sea is completely lost. We started with the Salmon Sushimi. The fish was tasty and tender enough, but the slices looked like they had been cut with a chain saw, not a finely honed blade. The fish was served on a bed of shredded cabbage that looked dried out and unappetising. Along side was a dry looking piece of wasabi and a small pot of rather sweet soy. For the main my partner had the grilled marinated chicken breast. The colour and caramalisation looked nice, but inside the flesh was over cooked to the point of being hard, dried out and unpleasant. I ordered the ribs which were on special. These were in fact beautifully cooked and delicious with the flesh falling away from the bone. The accompanying fries were very nice, the salad - let's finish on a positive not and not dwell on the salad.

Cosy and warm on a winter lunchtime. Great fresh fish or daily special of hearty lamb stew
