6/10The food was great however the beer is overpriced ($10.50). The set up when you walk in the front door and past the bar is a nightmare trying to queue to order drinks/food as it's a main thoroughfare

A pub with a difference
First opened in 1880, the recently refurbished and heritage listed Royal Cricketers Arms pub in Blacktown is the perfect watering hole. This picture-perfect pub is caters for all, and it's traditional old world atmosphere, delicious food and relaxed leafy surrounds are all crowd pleasers. The Bistro is open 7 days a week and has a comprehensive (and affordable) menu. The menu is a cut above your average pub grub and stuffed full of choice and it's the presentation takes things to the next level. And while there may be no TAB or pool table, there is live music, comedy nights, nightly meal specials and an excellent happy hour! For a pub with a difference try the RCA.
Best dish: famous london pie -steak & mushroom ragout, golden puff, creamy mash & mushy peas
