It was nice to go back after not being for a very long time

Food was disgusting. Drinks were served in new glasses straight from the box - unwashed and still with stickers on them. Service was snail pace. Overall not a pleasant dining experience.

Lovely old pub with tasty food! My family had the burgers and I had the pork knuckle. Everything was delicious! I will definitely be back. Just make sure you rug up if it’s a cold day. We were inside and by the fire and it was still cold!

Could have been warmer - the fire had only recently been lit and the doors were open.

They ran out of pork knuckles. The service at the bar was very slow. There is a bad sewerage smell that wafts through the place. The smell has been there for a long time, on quite a few visits. It’s a great atmospheric pub but could improve on the points mentioned.
