Sacramento do Chiado

The reviews we read were amazing so we thought we’d try it out. The place has a nice ambiance and the welcome was good. The wait staff were a bit stuffy. My husband had a beer and I had water. We ordered an appetizer and was also brought a bread plate that we didn’t order. Every other table was also brought this bread plate. Unfortunately, when we got the bill, we were charged €3 for the bread and €3 for water!!! Seriously??? Considering we didn’t order the bread and just had plain water (not sparkling or bottled), we thought this was a rip off. There are tons of restaurants in Lisbon and we definitely would not be visiting here or recommending this place!

This restaurant was recommended to us and we were told ‘you will NOT be disappointed’. This was absolutely right! The food was sensational, the greeting from Gabriella was very warm and accommodating, and our waitress Juliana was friendly and helpful with great recommendations. Prawns with garlic, beef cheeks, and watercress and mushroom risotto were all delicious. The octopus which we hadn’t ordered looked amazing on the next table. You should go - you will NOT be disappointed!!

Exceptional food and service. Everything we tasted seemed carefully prepared with the finest ingredients. And every waiter/staff member was attentive, responsive and kind. Even funny. We had a blast! Definitely added to the charm of Portugal for us. Thank you!

The place was very nice. The cod trilogy was amazing. The waitress suggestions unfortunately were not so accurate according to expectations. However, we decided to follow our own desires and we enjoyed the experience.

Really modern and sophisticated restaurant. Probably one of the best. Most of all service are awesome. Every clark watching customers well. Nice and delicious, is really worth of visiting when you are in Lisbon.

Bof. In France all the courses are named and explained not here. The turkey was so dry we couldn’t eat it. What à bad christmas meal. I don’t talk about thé dessert... and they forgot the port Wine as writen on menu

High quality of the food. Reasonable portions. There was few or none mobile network inside depending on the room and the wireless didn't work well.

The place is very pretty,..the welcome was fine.... We walked out..the waitress was awful. Tried five times to get a cocktail. I tried to get a description of an entree...she was clueless..I kept asking for my cocktail...wanted it before ordering dinner and getting food...she was just awful..we knew the night was going to go downhill..so we cut our losses and we just walked out... We had been there the week before and had a lovely experience and looked forward to spending our last night in Lisbon there...it was like a totally different restaurant...completely different help...if you had asked me a week ago, it would have been a glowing review....this week, so bad, we left before the night was ruined...so, who knows?...but I will never go back... The food we had the week before was excellent..this time, we never got the chance to eat anything.

Friendly staff, delicious food, stylish venue

I went with my mom, because we are in a weekend trip (we are from Spain). One of my friends recommended me Sacramento do Chiado. Really good experience!! The waitress was so nice, very helpful and profesional. The food was amazing and so tasty. I'll come back for sure. Thanks for all!

Amazing cocktails, amazing food and really welcoming staff. A very nice table was reserved for my girlfriend’s birthday, with a nice position - a great gesture.
