This was an unexpected find. I don't want to exaggerate, but on all counts, quality of the food, service and ambience, we couldn't fault the evening. We skipped entrees because we had eaten a substantial lunch earlier. We both chose (different) fish dishes, both of which had to rank as arguably the best we had ever had. Desserts (also different) were similar - just so terrific. The meal began with a small (complimentary) savoury macaron which was an absolute delight! Staff were absolutely first rate. Our own waiter was at once respectful. helpful and fun. A seriously delightful evening - thanks Sails!
Delicious foods, excellent service and nice view. We’ll be back soon.
Great food great wine-a great night!
This is our fourth time back to Sails. Everything from the venue, staff and food were exceptional. Addressed any dietary requirements, without a problem
Good view，good food，good service.
Great little intimate restaurant with fantastic views. Food was beautifully cooked and presented.. Was too warm inside, although noted it was 40 degrees outside. Waiter was attentive to our needs and supplied portable fan near our table which made it much better. Will definitely return
Generally a good experience. This particular day was very hot, and unfortunately the restaurant did not have sufficient air con to overcome the oppressive heat in the restaurant.
We were running late. The gentleman Andy (I think that was his name) was really pleasant & understanding. As we walked in the staff were incredible & helpful! The food was absolutely DELICIOUS!
What an amazing place !! The views, service and food were on point, felt welcomed by staff. I highly recommend this restarant and we will be back ????
Always a pleasure.
Great views, disappointing service, and hit & miss food. Hailing a waiter was challenging at best. We did not appear to a server assigned to our table and waited 15 mins after drinks were served to order and get more water. The scallops were perfect, but the pork Jowl was cooked perfectly, but was overpowered by the sherry vinegar. The John Dory, tenderloin, and chocolate delice were great but the panacotta was pretentious and lacked flavor. May try again next time with out of town visitors due to the great views of the harbor.
Great food and excellent service
A beautful little restaurant with spectacular views. Regardless of being sat by the window or in the middle of the room everyone has an amazing view. The food was amazing from presentation to taste. And the staff were friendly and attentive. Look forward to going back soon!
Degustation took too long. Menu said 2.5hrs, waiter said 3, Took 4.5 hrs, too long, seemed they delayed us to fit in with other diners to make it easier for the chef, food was good but won’t be back for a Degustation.
It was a very relaxing evening with friends food and service was just right and view was superb.
The food was fantastic and service was really good. A bit disappointed by the view though: the ferry stop is only 2 or 3 meters away from the restaurant, so that was 75% of our view from our table (amongst most other tables).
Great location, and great service. Food was great too. We ordered the John Dory & the Duck. The creme brûlée wasn’t for me. But the chocolate delice was outstanding!
Our group had the degustation meal and everybody loved it! All dishes were absolutely delightful. One person cannot eat seafood but the kitchen was kind enough to substitute it to cater to our friend. Initially we thought that we wouldn't be full but we were mistaken. Portions were good value for money. Will definitely be back - for the price and view, you can't go wrong.
Was a lovely place for dine, but each tables set up very close, so can hear others talking. Do not have much car park, suggest should have velvet parking service.
Service was wonderful and very accommodating with a pram too. Food was fresh and Devine!
