Daisuke Sakai

Daisuke is from Osaka in Japan, commencing his career after graduating from the TSUJI Culinary Institute. His first job was at a traditional Kappo restaurant in Osaka, where his passion for sushi and sashimi flourished. Daisuke spent a year soaking up knowledge learned from his fellow sushi chefs. Daisuke began working at Saké Hamer Hall as Sushi Chef in 2012. The talented cook’s expertise and leadership potential was noticed and he was promoted to Head Chef at Saké Eagle Street Pier.

The food was delicious and the service was great as well. There’s only one thing that a bit disappointed, we ordered the chief special banquet which is minimum for 2 pax, every dishes have two serve, however we were only provided one bowl of rice. It’s a bit wired and embarrassed to share a small bowl of rice.

The food was absolutely gorgeous. Faultless. We will definitely be back. A little over priced for what you get but the service was attentive, the staff were friendly and the food was sensational.
