A very impressive set menu. Simple flavours but delicious. The raw plate servings were too small, I could have eaten double. Could not fault any of the dishes. Service was impeccable. Thoroughly recommend as a great place to go for a special occasion.

Went for the Omakase which is an eight course degustation with pairing drinks. Each course was perfect in every way and delightfully delicious. Service was attentive and polite. Ambience was classy but in a modern way.

The Beef Tataki has chili on it and was very spicy, but the menu did not mention that. Complained to waiter after tasting 2 pieces, but waiter did not offer replacement or credit that course. The ponzu sauce with the gyoza was also spicy, again no mention of that in the menu. We would not return to this restaurant!

About Sake Restaurant & Bar Double Bay

Award-winning contemporary Japanese Nestled within the InterContinental Double Bay lies Sake, a contemporary Japanese fine dining experience. Choose from the main dining room, or for group events, one of three private dining rooms of varying capacity, as well as a selection of semi-private spaces.
