Neil Perry has done it again! We booked this restaurant as a last-minute decision when my wife and I decided to travel into the city for a meal and we were not disappointed. Our waiter was fantastic, customising a menu that suited my wife (who doesn’t eat seafood) and I. The food was great, a little on the pricey side but you get what you pay for. If you’re a beer drinker try their chocolate stout, it’s amazing.

Tried to give feedback direct to the Neil Perry Rockpool group. No response. Booked in advance but offered the worst table in room. Service inconsistent. Expensive for what you get. Disappointed after reading such good reviews.

The Maitre D was very welcoming as soon as we arrived even though she had to pleasantly deal with a rude guest who booked at the wrong restaurant. It just went up from there until we walked out the door. Will be back again!

About Sake Restaurant & Bar Hamer Hall

Southbank gets its ​Saké fix! Nestled into the cavernous façade in Hamer Hall and led by chef extraordinaire Shaun Presland, Saké serves up unique and contemporary Japanese cuisine in a room of polished concrete, red and honey-hued woods, embroidered kimono fabrics, handcrafted crockery and blossoming cherry trees.
