Food excellent and wait staff efficient and attentive. Atmosphere and ambience welcoming and not too noisy for easy conversation. Would Highly recommend
Great food, atmosphere and view for our anniversary dinner. The sashimi was of good quality and fresh. The only dish we didn't like was the eggplant. Everything else was great.
I've heard rave reviews of Sake for years and finally bit the bullet. That said, it was really disappointing. The food was very sub-par. I got sushi, agedashi tofu, eggplant with miso (nasu dengaku) the spicy wagyu and truffle ramen and the vegetable tempura. Pretty much all of it aside from the agedashi tofu was disappointing. The hiramasa sushi roll was supposed to be their specialty but I did not find it super fresh at all. The spicy wagyu ramen was more like a laksa, not really 'spicy' but more moderate and had not even a faint trace of truffle. The agedashi tofu was cruncy and well presented but there was too much of the sauce and it meant by the time my friend and I got through the dish, it was soaked and falling apart. Tempura was good but again, its not exactly a hard dish to get right. Overall, would not go back for a meal and certainly never at full price. Might be OK with going for a cocktail as the ambience is nice.
Great service. We had a good time , and the kid really enjoyed the food.
I was really disappointed because their sushi and sashimi wasn’t fresh at all.. snapper and boiled prawns had bad smell. Some staff are not welcoming.I will never go back again although it’s 50%off for food.
Great food and service and cocktails were lovely. My only gripe was the price of wine per glass! Cheapest red wine by the glass was $17 but cocktails were $18!! Seems a tad steep!! Would return for food and service but would choose to drink cocktails!!
Great food and great service in one of Brisbane’s best locations. Never disappoints. The sashimi and sushi rolls were excellent!! Will be back again soon
Delicious and light food that allowed my friends and I to try a large variety of the menu. Service was excellent.
Ecellent food. Greatly enjoyed the service and views over the River
Upon entering the restaurant we waited awhile at the front desk waiting to be acknowledged , while staff kept glancing over at us. This was our only negative. Tasty food and enjoyable atmosphere, with 50% off the bill.
Just fantastic food all round and always top service! The flavours were perfect especially with the eggplant starter right through to the miso tooth fish. Looking forward to our next visit.
Amazing waiting staff! The food came out in a timely manner and to amazing quality. For fine dining we thought the portions were great! Will 100% be going back
The food was very good quality. While the dishes are towards the small size for their price, the quality makes up for this. Great for a special occasion.
More attentive service in clearing plates and filling water required. The Chinese lady waiter needs to be a bit more relaxed, her attitude is too firm and makes people feel uncomfortable and unapproachable.
The food was an absolute delight, in particular the karaage bao and caramelized toothfish, but the service was very rushed and we spent a substantial amount of time just trying to flag someone down.
Food was just so so and far from Japanese standard. Over price for sake but location was good. However in total I DO NOT recommend this restaurant and next day the place where we went was 200% better than this and 1/3 price.
Amazing sushi, so fresh and presented beautifully.
Great atmosphere for NYE. Live Japanese drumming and free champagne on arrival. Watching the fireworks from the restaurant. We had a great time.
Sashimi was fresh and the cut was generous. Other dishes were good too and the staff who served us was super friendly and took her time to recommend dishes. Overall, we've had a good evening????
