I wanted to love this place but for the price, it was really quite average. Mood was cool, staff were fine. Food was a little disappointing and bland with the exception of one main. I really didn’t get to experience those really lovely unique Japanese flavours because they were not present, for example, a tiny dollop of wasabi with the cured fish really didn’t do much. The cured fish wasn’t seasoned with those amazing Japanese flavours that we all know exist. If you can get it under a promo then certainly go, but for full price I don’t think it’s worth it.

Always a memorable meal at Sake! First time we’ve dined at night (previously visited for lunch). Everything was superb as usual but being our first time dining on a Sunday, we didn’t realise there was a surcharge? However, free parking was a lot easier to find on a Sunday so I guess it kinda evens out - haha... Will definitely be back again soon!

Came for Lunch on Sunday. Arrived at 11.50am for a 12pm booking and was told to come back in 10 minutes. Little bit annoying considering they only had 5 tables in for lunch while we were there. So if we chose not to come back they would have lost 20% of there tables. Got served a $20 Japanese Beer which was out of date by 4 months. Entrees were nice but for the price not worth it. Had Pork for a main little bland. Tasted like Soy not Szechuan as stated on the menu. Had the Mushrooms & Cauliflower as a side which was nice. Should have skipped dessert but wanted to give them the benefit 3rd time the charm. We had the signature dish at $25. This was the highlight and it had a wow factor coming out on a bed of dried ice and smoking. Overall probably wouldn't go back unless both the service and food improves. Sorry guys

we had a 50% fork discount package, which entitles you to a ‘special’ menu, made up of components on their normal menu. There were 2 of us, and yet just one plate of each item in the set menu with what surely could not have contained the amount of food for 2. Meals were tasty, but portions were tiny, and I feel the discount offered is a specially designed menu, by no means worth the price.
