Lovely food , nice wine Giant Steps Pinot Noir!!
Excellent restaurant - food was beautiful, fresh, well presented. Wine list extensive; very wide range of sake. Very friendly and professional staff
It was my son's 26th birthday and it was a Monday night. The restaurant was busy, but that didn't stop the great service. Staff were attentive, helping with us choose our order. Food was sensational. Perfectly timed between courses. And they even brought out a birthday cupcake with desserts for my son. It was just a perfect night. Will definitely go back
Sake is a wonderful restaurant, with fabulous food and great ambience. The service is always good. The menu changes regularly so you are sure to find a tasty new dish each time you dine.
Loved the food and service was great. The restaurant was a bit dark which I suppose is for mood but we've been to Brisbane Sake a few times and it's much brighter. Also food came out very quickly, probably too quickly for our liking. We want to enjoy the experience, not be in and out in 40 minutes, particularly when you're spending $200.
We had the lunch set menu and it was amazing! The flavours combined well. The goma dessert had a really nice punch to it! Would come back again.
Staff were awesome and super friendly. The little downfall was the awkward and uncomfy seating arrangement as well as extremely dull lighting and stuffiness... but anyway, luckily the food made up for it .. yum!
Food and service great albeit a bit fast. Would have liked to enjoy our cocktail before the entree arrived. $350 for a 75 minute experience is a bit steep. Clearly they like to turn the tables.
Very tasty food. Great service
Food is excellent but Some waiters are attentive, some are not
Amazing. Everything was awesome, no faults!!!
Sake has a great atmosphere but lacks a creative cuisine and has several service flaws. It is an ok restaurant, however I feel for the price level it really needs to work around many things to earn its place/ price range. Lobster tacos were a great surprise while spicy tuna roll was a big disappointment (very plain flavor, “spicy” tasted like a dried chilli powder and roll was sliced in very thick pieces). Nigiris raw fish was excellent although sometimes chef abuse overuse the blowtorch which leaves a burnt aftertaste. Service was below expectations for this price range place (my nigiris were more than 10 minutes on the counter “waiting” to be served).
food are nice and tasteful. Recieved a free birthday cake . Cant believe full house falls on weekday. Therefore services cant be fully satisfaction. During the dinner, smell something different in the resturant, Not sure what spray they use but it smells stinky.
We enjoyed a quick meal pre a show in the Opera House. We advised the waiter of this and he was hugely accommodating and the food was served quickly. The dishes were all delicious and well presented. The restaurant, despite being early for dinner, was busy and had a good vibe. I would highly recommend Sake and all the staff were friendly and professional.
Was a great experience, and quite tasty food. Unfortunately, a sushi place with such high prices (paid 300 dollars for two), I would have expected that they served O-Toro tuna sashimi. Otherwise, really fantastic place.
Celebrated my sisters birthday and couldn’t fault anything. Loved the service, food and surprise birthday cupcake!
The food was great, the dishes are small as expected but the quality is amazing. The lobster tacos are extremely small, I wouldn't order them again. The beef tataki, sashimi, and miso eggplant were outstanding.
I absolutely love this restaurant. My husband and I have been coming here for years. The food is fantastic and so is the service. All in all a great night out...as always!
Expensive but nice..
Amazing cuisine and love the cocktails unfortunately was a bit let down by the service

Sensational Sushi at ?Saké
Saké. Home to Sydney’s best sushi, no doubt about it. Tucked away in a heritage-listed former woolstore in the harbourside suburb of The Rocks, this Sydney dining institution attracts fine diners and business-lunchers alike - all on the hunt for the best sushi in the city. ?Led by an amazing team of chefs, Saké serves up the clean, fresh flavours of Japan, matched to traditional Japanese wines like sake (it has over 40 varieties). We suggest starting with the Hiramasa Kingfish with Soy Dressing and house made Lime & Jalapeño Kosho and our signature Cape Grim Short Rob Bossam is a standout, as are the tempura and sushi rolls. The sleek, contemporary interior and world class food keeps people coming back again, and again. We’ll say it again. Best sushi in Sydney. Get there.
Best dish: Cape Grim Short Rob Bossam with baby gem lettuce, pickles, confit garlic and ssam sauce
