Lovely service, beautiful Japanese food. Very fresh and some of the staples as well as their own interesting dishes. Soy Butter Calamari was a highlight!

Good value lunch. Friendly service.

Great restaurant. Best dish is soy butter calamari. Noise level can be quite high so not really a first date or romantic venue. Waitresses are notably hard to catch the eye of to ask for anything.

Table was a bit small to enjoy the hotpot that comes with the two large plates however overall it was an enjoyable dinner experience.

About Sapporo

Sake and sushi at Sapporo This North Sydney mainstay is one of the longest surviving Japanese restaurants in Australia. Offering a truly unique experience with its wide range of authentic and contemporary dishes, this glorious spot is perfect for huge family banquets, intimate meals for two or long lazy catch ups with sake and live jazz. We love the bento boxes which are always stuffed full of tasty treats! Best dish: any of the bentos.
