The meals we had were not that inspiring, although whilst perfectly eatable, there wasn’t any wow factor. The service was average, although they were busy. Given the food is on the high side price wise, I did expect better.
We lived in Surfers Paradise 27 years ago. This was our nostalgic trip. The food, the service and the atmosphere were excellent. It was the absolutely right place for the last dinner of our trip!
Beautiful location. Food was flawless. Can’t wait for our next trip to the Gold Coast. We will definitely be back again.
A great place for an excellent seafood meal. Pretty busy, but not in an overcrowding sense, so be sure to book. A bit pricey but a nice place to have that special occasion.
By far one of the best dining experiences I have had in a very long time. Thank you Seascape for your incredible food, attention to detail and outstanding service!!
Faultless experience. Lovely, professional staff and exceptional service. We dined in the fine dining restaurant where we enjoyed a lobster mornay, followed by a delectable chocolate fondant . I would absolutely recommend this restaurant to others for a real dining experience.
Hostess was rude and even if we had special occasion refused to sit us next to the window due to “reserved tables”. We spent in the restaurant 2 hours and 3 tables next to the window were still free. Waitress didn’t know much about wine card, food was just average, glass had a split on it. You can find much better places don’t waste your time or money here.
we had a booking for 8pm on a Sunday, however our table wasnt ready therefore we were asked to have a drink close to the bar, which was ok cos we can see the restaurant is busy however i ordered a dry martini but received a dirty martini instead, nonetherless the waitress noticed we returned the drink so she promised to ensure they will get it right by the time we are seated. The drink arrived and then a second one arrived (by accident) so they took it away. Two larger tables were seated after us but were served with water first so we asked for water and a menu. The food wasnt bad however they forgot to put through two sides. Overall we food was ok, its the un-organised staff that made the experience not as enjoyable.
Great food and great views, highly recommend xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx
Food was really nice and atmosphere was great, but the portion sizes are quite small. You definelty have to order an entree, a main and a desert to be satisfied.
Nice restaurant, beautiful view! Wasn’t a big fan on the house baked bread as it seemed as if it was lacking something. Found the meals to be slightly overpriced, but you’re paying for the view. The chips were very oily and not great. Definitely some of the most professional staff I’ve come across.
We had the seafood platter from the Bistro... Wow it fed 2 Adults and 2 kids, it was beautiful and fresh..view is amazing.. staff are great. Highly recommend ..
We enjoyed our experience
Great host and a thoroughly enjoyable experience
Amazing food, wine and view! Our VIP certainly enjoyed their time.
amazing food, possibly one of the best restaurant meals we have ever had, staff were friendly and accommodating.
Really appreciate how the fish comes with a choice of 2 sides. Our waiter was so friendly and made fantastic recommendations
Great place, great food, great views. Food was overpriced. Happy to pay $50 for a main... but please, give me more than 2 moreton bay bugs and 2 prawns. We loved the place but left hungry.
Fresh seafood and delectable cocktails in the perfect seaside setting
4 The Esplanade, 4217, Surfers Paradise, Australia
A seafood sensation
A trip to Surfers Paradise isn’t complete without a meal at Seascape Restaurant & Bar, a stunning venue that offers an incredible outlook over the beach and buzzing Esplanade. Ascend the contemporary timber staircase to the restaurant on the second floor and find yourself in a minimalistic, modern space that is the perfect backdrop for wining and dining. Seafood is the name of the game here and the restaurant sources a minimum of six different types of fresh fish daily; each one prepared specifically to showcase the unique tastes and textures of each fishy morsel. Start with an entree of maple-cured black kingfish with wasabi sorbet, wakame and sesame praline or cured duck breast before moving on to one of the daily catches. And if you really can’t choose opt for the five-course banquet and enjoy the Chef’s seafood selection. Or if you’re just looking for something a bit more casual head to the bar and bistro downstairs and grab some fish & chips and a glass of wine… this is a venue that is perfect for all occasions.
