Lovely butter chicken, made with fresh ingredients. Great location on the water but outdoor eating area could be improved.

I think this is the best Indian in Canberra, especially if you want authentic regional dishes. Lots of places are very focused on Punjabi cuisine but Seven does dishes from other regions just as well.

Catch up with friends or enjoy a romantic dinner date while sitar music plays softly in the background. Bringing you a variety of seven different regional cuisines from Punjab to Goa, 7 by the Lake offers your standard Indian go-to’s, as well as exciting dishes such as Bengali Chicken curry marinated in yoghurt and spices, cooked on a slow fire. Best dish: Goat Laalmaas curry - prepared in a sauce of yogurt, garlic and variety of spices and red chillies.
