Excellent selection from various regions of India. This was ur third visit and we try a different combination every time. Staff are friendly and food does not take long to appear.

Food was excellent, but they had a problem with small flies that were disturbing. The service was very good, but they were training a new girl who would benefit from learning the balance between attending to customers needs vs intrusion. Overall we enjoyed our meal and would recommend this restaurant.

Excellent flavours and unique dishes. One of the best Indian restaurant meals I've had in Canberra. Very good attention and service. Varied menu.

Very disappointing. Onion Bhakti were thick and heavy not light and crisp. One lamb dish was extremely salty. The other chicken dish was ok and the dhal was probably the best. Booked to use accumulated dimi points for a $20 credit but had to remind the after the bill was prepared

Better range of dishes than a standard Indian restaurant and an enjoyable setting, especially outside on a warm evening.

The food was outstanding, fresh and exactly what we were looking forward to. The staff were very attentive and the food came out quick and the meals were mouth watering. We had read some reviews for this restaurant and some said the meals were expensive. I have to totally disagree. We thought the prices were very good, compared to some restaurants. We loved it and will be back. Yummmmmmm

Friendly and helpful service with good views and atmosphere. Delicious food. Love the concept of dishes from 7 regions of India. Will return and sit at an outside table as we did this time.

Black and gold
Classic black chairs and gold napkins set the ambience at this polished Indian restaurant. Catch up with friends or enjoy a romantic dinner date while sitar music plays softly in the background.
Bringing you a variety of seven different regional cuisines from Punjab to Goa, 7 by the Lake offers your standard Indian go-to's, as well as exciting dishes such as Bengali Chicken curry marinated in yoghurt and spices, cooked on a slow fire.
Best dish: Goat Laalmaas curry - prepared in a sauce of yogurt, garlic and variety of spices and red chillies.
