A fantastic restaurant with fabulous food. Make sure you have the Hommus and the Baklava. And the gritty laneway location gives it that essential Melbourne feel.

A cool Melbourne city lane way restaurant with delicious food, great service and decent wine list by the glass, ticks all round. I thoroughly enjoyed every dish we had. Their hummus with burnt butter is a game changer. Look forward to going back soon.

Bread not home made, too much tahini in hommus, aircon on too high and one staff member not conciderate about it. Eggplant dish needs more falafel

A wonderful restaurant in the CBD, one of my absolute faves! They have the most creative, delicious menu and the service is also excellent. My only very minor complaint on this occasion was that we were sat by a window and on a very windy Melbourne winter evening I was pretty cold from the draft. The restaurant was full so I knew there wasn't much point in mentioning to the staff, so I just sat with my coat on my lap to try and keep warm! Other than that it was another lovely dining experience from the team at Sezar, and I will, of course, be back.

A treat from the ancient world

A treat from the ancient world, Sezar Restaurant is slick, suave and here to serve. Nestled in a laneway in Melbourne’s heart, this restaurant boasts sophisticated city vibes and cool exotic charm. The cuisine is Armenian, and here the masterful chefs do an amazing job of updating ancient recipes with fresh modern pizzazz. Sezar really is something else. Come here for a special night out or bring your sweetheart for a date night that’s a little left of centre; you’ll walk away wishing you had never left! The gorgeous dining and bar area is stylish and ultramodern, elegant and arty. The menu is just full of delicious items bursting with Middle Eastern spices.
