Great location and fantastic food, a little difficult to find as tucked away, parking is limited

A peaceful hidden location for quiet dinners. Great food and service. We had the hot seafood platter and it was delicious.

First time trying this restaurant and found it overall just ok. We chose it because of it's waterfront location with views and of it's fairly good food reviews at reasonable value. Firstly, parking was not real easy for this Sunday lunchtime. The i8ntercom to access parking for the marina and restaurant was not responsive so we parked further down in a side street as even the nearby park parking area was full. The restaurant was situated on the marina accessed by stairs which did have one chair lift. What we experienced was beautiful food with focus on seafood which we thoroughly enjoyed but very slow service. The staff were very nice and apologised. It was not explained to us why this was happening. The restaurant was only half full with patrons. We were disappointed when we were offered instant coffee as their coffee machine was broken. It maybe sometime before we return.

About Shipwrights on the Marina

Seaside Sailing You don’t have to be sailing aboard a luxury yacht to enjoy a luxurious experience on the water. Nowhere is this more true that at Shipwrights. Right on the water’s edge, every dining table offers a stunning view across tranquil Shipwrights Bay. It’s a lifetime away from the hustle and bustle, and offers a romantic, ambient setting for any occasion. Take a few deep breaths and settle in as you admire the gorgeous views and indulge in a range of fresh modern Australian cuisine. As you’d expect, seafood is the star here. Don’t go past the shared seafood platter: a generous array of smoked salmon, fresh prawns, natural rock oysters and more. For mains, there’s no going past traditional lightly battered flathead and chips, or the baby calamari, served crispy and golden with a spicy Thai style dipping sauce. The menu also features quail, rabbit, beef fillet and other such terrestrial delights to suit all tastes. After your meal, take a few minutes to savour the private terraced garden and of course, the views from the boardwalk. On a beautiful summer day, this dining experience is priceless. Best dish: Shared seafood platter
