We felt that the service and portion sizes were really generous! The staff were very nice. Definitely a great local for takeaway.

Average place Average food

We had the restaurant all for ourselves as we were the only diners at 8pm on Friday!! Not sure if it’s due to the long weekend of not. I found this from a search for Nepalese cuisine but I aS disappointed to find out that there were only 3-4 Nepalese dishes with no choice and the rest was all Indian. Service was good overall but the lamb rogan josh was over cooked and too hard to bite. Nepalese spicy chicken was delicious!

Average quality food. Good service

We booked a 40% off deal for this restaurant. It was BYO, which was a nice surprise. The service was lovely, warm, and attentive. The food was tasty and the portions were a decent size. The goat was very flavorful, though it was a lot of bone so not much meat. The chicken tikka butter masala was creamy, sweet, and delicious. The Saag paneer was great too. Only slight letdown was the gulab jamun, which appeared to be blasted quickly in the microwave before being served. Overall good value, great service, nice little spot, and huge menu selection -- would go again to try other dishes!

We dined on a week night and restaurant was very quiet. The food was delicious although the serving was very small and the naan bread lacked texture.

About Singh's Bala Da Dhaba

Singing Good Welcome to Singh´s Bala Da Dhaba restaurant where you´ll be welcomed with open arms. This place is not just about delicious food; they´re also curry-bent on providing you with good service. The place has been decked out beautifully, with neat and comfy tables, warm pink walls and moody lighting. You’ll find yourself in a lovely space surrounded by beautiful traditional artwork. Here, you can feast on the very best dishes from India and Nepal, two styles of cuisine with interesting differences that come together perfectly. From the Indian menu, favourites include the wonderfully done butter chicken and the chef´s special pumpkin masala. And from the Nepalese side of things, you´ll have to go for the vegetable Manchurian, which is Nepal´s version of dumplings: curry-flavoured little balls deep fried and covered in gravy goodness. Your evening at Sing´s Bala Da Dhaba will be made memorable by super-polite staff and attentive service. It really doesn´t get much better than that. Best dish: pumpkin masala
