Sítio - Hotel Valverde

The restaurant was great. Lovely interior, friendly and welcoming staff. The food is incredibly rich in flavor and simply delicious. Fast service and amazing atmosphere. Can not wait to go back and try the other foods!

Exceptional service and high quality food. The staff made us feel very welcome as we were celebrating an anniversary. We were given some sparkling wine on arrival and it was a really great evening!

A wonderful experience: beautiful setting, outstanding, attentive but not intrusive service, and really well prepared and presented food. Not inexpensive but worth the price.

My wife and I were hoping to get into another nearby restaurant but realized they didn't have any availability until ten pm so we decided to try out Sitio Valverde. It is a restaurant connected to hotel Valverde. And boy were we glad we did. Mario and Luis did a phenomenal job in answering questions about the menu, giving us details about the hotel, and frankly just being great hosts. And even if they hadn't done any of that, the food was magnificent. I would go back just to try out more items but I would definitely go to see simply how Mario and Luis are doing. As an aside, the hotel looks very nice. They are expanding it but it seems that is a must visit hotel in Lisbon.

This restaurant is probably one of the best hidden jewels in Lisbon. The chef reinvented some of the traditional Portuguese dishes, preserving the ingredients but adding a genius touch plentiful of taste. The service was superb, Daniela is very attentive and made us feel like we were at home. If you come to Lisbon, do yourself a favour going to this restaurant.

Super romantic place in the middle of the city

Great place and setup, food could be better. Good value for the price tho. The waitress was extremely gentle and nice. Fado music during dinner was a plus.

We made reservations for Christmas through the Fork, but upon arrival it turned out that the reservation hadn't come through. Luckily, that wasn't a problem. What can I say about Sítio? The ambiance is warm and feels homely and the staff is excellent! The food was very nice. My husband's dish (fish) was still a bit raw inside, but it was immediately replaced by a new dish and the staff apologized several times for the inconvenience. Nothing but compliments for this restaurant! Although the restaurant is located in a 5 star hotel, the food is not expensive at all. Go there and indulge yourself.

Excellent place !

The food, typical Portuguese cuisine was explained by Marco. We loved everything we ate from soup to desert. and our wine Freixo reserva 2014 was delicious. Marco was especially knowledgeable and helpful in our decision. We also enjoyed Fado music. Would recommend to friends. Thank you.

Tres bon tres class

Would have liked to have been told that I might as well have bought a bottle of wine. Was served 4 small glasses for a premium wine, without having checked the list. Deeply regret it now, as this cost even more that a bottle. Would have been nice to have had a heads up. Dishes good by the set menu variety was underwelming and therefore going a la carte showed to be an overpriced experience not to be repeated in these terms.
