The view was beautiful. Great atmosphere. Food was Really delicious but service was poor. $18 cocktail was tiny. We were the only table for ages and I had to call the waitress over a few times because we’d finished a course for a while and were ready to be cleared or left with the dessert menu, waited looking around at them but had to eventually call out that we were ready for desserts.

We thoroughly enjoyed our "long lunch." The cuisine incorporated fresh produce to take some standard dishes fine dining dishes, e.g. fish served whole and slow-cooked lamb, and give them some extra sophistication and interest. Other dishes provided us with a chance to try something we had not enjoyed before. The menu was varied and the dishes were beautifully presented. The service was friendly but professional and the venue has lovely views across the mountain plateau and the Springs golf course.

There was a Birthday party plus a big gathering of the people staying for Golf . As such the noise was high so we have missed the privacy and comfort of quiet discussions . The food was, as usual, excellent and the drinks even better !

The food was great and the views and decor fabulous. The service was a little off, not sure if the staff were all new or if there weren't enough of them. For the price I would probably expect less clumsy service. Getting attention for cutlery, drinks service was slow, had to ask for glasses, ice, they didn't clear empty glasses or plates, they weren't used to serving at a table or where to put side plates, it was all a bit of an awkward mess, but it was a casual lunch catch up with friends - they just stuffed up so many times that we all noticed. At the end the bill was split incorrectly (only need to split in half) - it shouldn't have been that difficult but summed up our experience perfectly.

On arrival we had to ask for our table to be extended as we were too squashed in. As we were the only table on the night we couldn't understand their reason.

Great venue, staff and food. Good variety with both restaurant and bar menu available. Can be great place for a quiet couple dinner but sometimes has large groups (which can be noisy) however if you call and book they always let you know if there is a wedding etc so you can make the choice. It never bothers us and we always enjoy The Springs and recommend it highly

Really good food and a lovely view. However, obviously, it's none of the staffs fault. But when we went for a special occasion. A large group came in and made so much noise that none of us could talk to each other, we had to move outside. I think for rowdy groups like these, they should be given a table further away from the main dining area because this isn't the first time this has happened while I've been there. I blame none of the staff for this and it was quickly resolved when we moved but I did notice that multiple other groups followed us outside because of the noise. It really broke the atmosphere for more people than just my group.

I'm sure the place has great views in daytime; however at night there is nothing to see beyond the large feature window that dominates the place.
