Such a beautiful venue, with amazing food and customer service. I will definitely be spreading the good word, and will be going back there again soon.

Our small family get together were all very happy with the time we spent here, the very helpfull and friendly service could not have done anything better for us, it was very hot out on the terrace, but we were having cold jugs of water bought out to us constantly, very appreciated, and the meals, just brilliant.

Great place outside of the city.

The sitting duck was a big disappointment. The food was average. The $9 sourdough wasn’t fresh. The butter was fridge cold. The hotpot had no flavour. Individual meal options were limited so difficult for small groups. There was a large function on which may have distracted the kitchen, so perhaps we were there in a bad night. Will not be returning to find out.

Beautiful scenery.. not the best service.

Yummy food, but mostly share plates for 3-4, so not so easy if not everyone wants the same meal.

Great Fathers Day late lunch (Dunch)! Food was awesome. Love the sharing menu.

Great venue but the one thing was the menu. It states “share” plates but the only share plate was the lamb which was incredible. We also order Salmon & Spatchcock for a table of 9.....but they where only for one person portion. Overall we had a lovely day....the venue is just superb!

About Sitting Duck

You won’t be sitting still. With stunning views of Peats Ridge, The Sitting Duck creates dishes you’re going to love. With the produce coming from the farm and going straight on your plate, you know you’re eating the freshest produce. The Sitting Duck resembles exactly what you’d expect. Sporting modern farmhouse decor, these guys provide an intimate dining experience. The menu changes regularly depending on the season and produce, and caters for all dietary requirements. Divided up into omnivore, herbivore, carnivore and piscavore, The Sitting Duck ensures you have a wide range of items to choose from. We loved the Peking Duck hot dog with spicy plum sauce, grilled pineapple, cucumber and crispy shallots. Best Dish: Thai Milk Tea Panna cotta with frozen berries and Coconut Ice cream
