Casual dinner out. We had a previous food experience and decided to return. Service was on the slow side - we were waiting to order for some time and unable to flag anyone down. Food service was quick after we managed to order. We got the scallops, meat platter for 1, halloumi salad, chips, and a galaktoboureko for dessert. The food this time was subpar. The scallops were ok - a bit overcooked and did not taste fresh. The meat platter was small, and the meats were very tough and overcooked, which was very different from our previous experience. The chips were sadly a bit soggy. The galaktoboureko tasted like it was straight from the fridge. The filo was not crispy at all but soaking in syrup. The most disappointing part of that the entire desert tasted like the fridge. It is difficult to describe, but it's the taste that occurs in foods in my house that are stored in the freezer for a long time and then defrosted and refrosted before being defrosted again. The salad was the highlight of the meal. I had a 50% discount for the meal through The Fork, so taking that all into account, the price was somewhat reasonable for the food quality. I would have been very disappointed if I had to pay full price for this meal.

It is the second time I go to the restaurant. I don’t care that I get 50% off I still expect good food. The main course, chicken kebabs and the salad was of a shocking standard. I said something to the waitress and she didn’t care. She did nothing about it. No apology no thing. That’s what annoyed me more than the bad food. I won’t be going there again. Extremely dissatisfied.

We went there with baby. The stuff are friendly and helpful with settling the baby. It takes no more than 5 minutes on a Thursday night for the starters to come. Decent food as well. Overall very pleasant experience.

Have been before. Do love the venue. This time, we tried a la carte. Seafood risoni, nice but a little bland, although plenty of seafood. Meat platter for 2 was ok.. although meat I'm not a real fan of but hubby loved it. My favourite is the stuffed mushroom. Beautiful!!

It was with great excitement we had found a new restaurant in our very own stomping ground. We arrived at few minutes before our booking, and were seated and given tepid water. It was a warm day, and the restaurant was rather warm, extremely dark, borderline dingy. For the starters, we had the fried calamari with chimicharri salsa. Calamari was served on a flat bed of flaccid rocket, only approx 8 pieces of calamari. The chimicharri sauce was fortunately in a small bowl, because if was "on the turn". It did have a piece of tomato in it, which is unusual in itself, which had started to ferment, and not in a good way. My partner had the saganaki, which had been cut through to make it serve another portion, but lacked the oregano or sprinkle of oil. Now to mains. We both had the baked lamb, with potato's lemonates. i googled this before going, and was excited at the thought of crispy potato's, roast/baked lamb and a lemon sauce on the side. What was presented to us, was a lamb stew, and a bad one at that, with boiled potato's and carrots. The lamb was bland, and boiled vege's, an embarrassment. There was no seasoning on the sauce, and it was crying out for flavour. We made a comment to the waitress, and she was lost for words. There needs to be a "chef" at this restaurant, because what was presented to us was way below acceptable, and tasteless. There were no salt and pepper on the tables, maybe some pepper might have made it more palatable. I will try and end this on a high note. No doubt the lease is only 1 year, and there will be something else shortly, or, sadly for the owners, not being up to scratch, it will close due to lack of custom. Despite the 50% off, all I could think about was my own roast lamb and how I could feed 6 with the money we spent terrible food. My advice, keep looking on the The Fork and avoid this disaster at all costs.
