Two of us went on a Saturday night. Very quiet so no atmosphere. Service was fine. My wife's food (lamb) was very good and she really enjoyed it. Mine (chicken) was dry. They forgot to bring the vegetable side we ordered and it only came after a reminder and when we had eaten most of the food. Somewhat disappointing!

The lunch specials are great, however although the venue was not particularly busy the food delivery was slow.

As a pre-theatre venue, Society Bar & Kitchen is well located. It has lovely decor, good food & great service. $14 cocktails were a nice surprise!

Table booked via Dimmi for 10 guests. Booking confirmed and reminder sent by Dimmi, yet upon arrival at the restaurant they had no booking. Thankfully I arrived early and the restaurant was not busy so a table was quickly set.

Food was good, very generous portions. We were lucky to be there during happy hour, had cheap drinks and complimentary appetiser. Would definitely go back

Relaxed atmosphere with good food at a fair price in a central Perth location. Good for a meal after work or before a show/event.

About the restaurant

Make It Your Mantra Nestled at the base of the Mantra on Murray hotel, just next to Wolf Lane, this pleasant little establishment has a cosmopolitan atmosphere and a menu to match. Being attached to the hotel they offer a grand buffet breakfast available to guests and non-guests alike. Open all day, this is a great place for a business lunch with a menu that isn´t pretentious but stays a cut above pub grub. If you´re eating with someone you trust, try one of the ‘mate’s plates’. Alternatively, if you want to bring a bunch of people for a sundowner, the Society Bar and Kitchen offers a great range of different choices for a ‘sundowner platter’. The dinner menu offers an interesting range of meat and seafood, all fresh and beautifully cooked. The gremolata lamb loin comes with cumin-spiced beetroot, rosini pasta and a snow pea salad finished with confit garlic cream. Best dish: King prawn spaghetti
