Had the combination plate for 2 people. Very generous serving of good food. Best if you’re quite hungry when you come here. Service was friendly and not intrusive.
With the long isolation, was looking for a great experience out. No it was awful. Ordinary greeting then told to go up stairs. No direction or guidance of sitting, so just chose table. Sat for some time while staff spent time spreading table cloths rather than service. Then one couple served. Eventually waitress approached and we asked for a wine menu which was totally absent. No service again until a late arrival group was seated. They were served and attended to before us. All this would be excusable if the meal was excellent but unfortunately it was very average. The whole experience was awful, the worst I have experienced when after Covid I was expecting the opposite.

Food beautiful. Too greedy by far, cramming too many tables in for festival season. Terribly short-staffed when it’s clear they needed them. Given the absolute worst table ever. Food beautiful, staff friendly, but clearly stressed. What a same.
We ordered a couple of entrees and a platter for 4 but were wisely advised that we should only order for 3.. luckily we did. The portions were huge and the food was great.
The food is fantastic but the hospitality was really bad. I was really disappointed for my birthday dinner. I would not recommend to go to this place.
Unfortunately not a good experience. We had to wait for mains for 25 minutes, when we complained the lady in charge argued with us that it wasn't 25 minutes, she blamed us because we had starters and also told us that we should have had told her that we were going somewhere else afterwards. I never had to warn a restaurant before that I was due to leave in and hour and a half nor have I been to a restaurant where they wait to order your main until after you finish your starter! Although polite dealing with the complaint no apology received other than blaming us. The food is average with very high prices.

Food portions were large and taste was great! Service could have been better as it took a while for our plates to be cleared, perhaps more wait staff on the floor would have helped.
Share platter was excellent, but steak was a little chewier than ideal, although flavoursome. Service cheerful and efficient. Still a worthwhile visit.

Fantastic atmosphere, high quality food and excellent service. A combination which is hard to find these days. Our elderly visitor was especially we looked after too.
This hidden gem never seems to fail. The service is Exceptional. They even go the extra mile and serve mock tails to include the kids in fine dining. Food is amazing, cooked on charcoal and oozing with flavour. Every mouthful left us wanting more. Servings are large too, We ordered a platter for 2 for 3 of us to share (2 adults + 1 9yo child) and still have food left over which they kindly packed for us to take home. My only criticism is the wine list, whilst I’m they stock international wines, their range of Australian & NZ wine was disappointing with only 1 of each variety available and pricey. Can’t wait to go back.

The shared platter was lovely - great platters. The service was fine, though the waiters weren’t overly friendly. Considering that we were the only patrons in the restaurant at one point, their service felt a little lacking. Overall though, very nice food.

The food is fantastic. Plenty of it and great value. Would go every night if I lived in Adelaide!
Our table had greens, chicken, beef and seafood all of very high standard and flavours. Staff were attentive and had a good understanding of menu and wine list

Best dish – Chivito - Young slow braised goat.
