Award-winning chef Daniel Brehaut has put together an extensive menu of moreish tapas and main-size Mediterranean meals, all matched expertly to complementary wines and the signature house-made sangria. The menu is divided into three parts, and priced accordingly: tapas, entrees and mains, plus there are plenty of gluten-free and vegetarian options. There’s no shortage of delectable dishes: tapas includes roasted pork sliders, fried silky croquettes and pressed Otway pork belly, with entrees and mains such as 12 hour slow cooked beef cheek, twice roasted half duckling and a hearty Spanish paella. Save some room for dessert though – the sugary churros and chocolate sauce are to die for! Traditional and tasty tapas and Spanish specialities… There’s no bull at the Black Bull.
