The food here is always delicious and of very high standard and quality. Staff are friendly and attentive and offer lots of help with the menu and what to order.
Delicious variety dumplings and generous amounts of pickles. Good spot for a long lunch.
Very disappointed at the level of service in particular but also found the food to be less that what I would expect from a restaurant with the reputation of Spice temple. Overall it was a disappointing experience and I won't be rushing back.
My sister and I visited Spice Temple for her birthday and it did not disappoint. We shared a number of small dishes and each one was divine. The food was very flavoursome and I would definitely recommend the prawn dumplings. We ordered too much food, but it was too delicious to leave. We had a carafe of cocktail which was a great value for money. Once the sun went down, the blinds went up and we had a great view of Southbank, the Yarra river and the Crown torches. I highly recommend.
Great food. Every dish was sensational.
Food and service amazing as always.
Love everything about dining at Spice Temple
Always a lovely experience however there was a new staff member being trained right near our table and the volume of instruction really deterred from a relaxed and enjoyable atmosphere - I am completely supportive of new staff and the requirement to train them however really don't wish to hear it all when I am trying to enjoy my evening...
Fantastic food and great atmosphere. Couldn’t fault anything. ????
The food was tasty and the portions were a reasonable size.
Spice Temple was amazing, as usual! The food was a lovely balance of spice, flavour, and quality. The cocktails were the same. Will be coming back soon.
Great variety of food, would have loved to try almost everything on the menu. The only disappointing dish was the beef with black bean which unfortunately came Out last
Delicious food- met all our expectations.
Love the food, Love the wine and Love the service at Spice Temple. Always walk away happy and satisfied.
Been there a couple of times because the food is great. So we wanted to try the dynasty banquet but asked if we could replace the duck as neither my partner and I like duck meat. Given that it was public holiday a surcharge of extra 15% would be applied. We would have thought a request could be fulfilled. We were told that because it’s public holiday the restaurant is busy and cannot accomodate the change in the banquet menu yet there was a few tables that were empty. Also, we couldn’t understand the difference it would have impacted the kitchen if ordering off the menu or ordering the banquet with a change in one dish.
We had a great family get together
A wonderful dining experience as always. The food is superb.
Overcharged for 4 glasses of still water. $10 .50 per glass Discounted 50% when I complained. Could have had more meat pieces in the pork belly and the kungpoa chicken.

Turn Up The Heat
If there’s one thing Neil Perry knows how to do, it’s how to win the hearts, minds, and bellies of his patrons. Just like Perry's other successful food forays, Spice Temple, in Melbourne’s Crown Casino has locals head over heels in love. Created with business partners Trish Richards and David Doyle, Spice Temple is dark and dazzling, with rich toffee-hued lighting, comfortable seats and dark wood tables. Like the fit out, the food is just as dramatic and allows diners to explore Perry’s interpretation of Chinese cuisine. Heat, spice, sourness and saltiness - they’re all present - with Perry opting for authentic and robust over safe and polite, every time. Tea-smoked duck breast is rare and succulent, fish fragrant eggplant is crispy, spicy and sour - a must try. For dessert, it's difficult to go past the chocolate and peanut parfait - a favourite of many. Oh Mr Perry, it’s always a pleasure to have you in town. Few would disagree. It’s time to spice things up.
