A country boy from Berowra, Andy Evans begun his apprenticeship at Rockpool Sydney at 19. He went from toasting sarnies at Asquith Golf Club in Mt Colah, to working alongside luminary Neil Perry and other respected names in the industry. Evans chalked up nine years with the Rockpool team, crediting his compatriots with embedding a fierce respect for exceptional produce, innovation and creativity that continues within the Rockpool premium restaurant stable today.

Absolutely amazing! The food was incredible, great lighting brilliant service, perfect all round experience. Felt like I could have been in a high end restaurant in Shanghai! Not to mention probably the best martini I’ve ever had... and I’ve had a few!

Been here a few time and the food is Devine! The atmosphere is lovely, dark, dimmed lights with Cousy oriental style. Wine list is amazing too so highly recommend

Food was great. Wagyu beef brisket was slightly salty, but otherwise everything else was too quality. Especially loved the Kung Pao chicken and the drowning fish. The cocktails were also delicious. Good for a special celebration, but a bit expensive for an everyday meal
