Run by pioneering chef, Neil Perry, the Spice Temple serves food inspired by regional Chinese dishes, steering clear of your run-of-the-mill Cantonese. Flavours are taken from the provinces and blended into unique and modern dishes, signatures of this world-class chef. Culinary elements include pickled and fermented ingredients and the aromatic dried spices of China. Wines have been selected to match each and every meal, and cocktails from the bar are as carefully created as the cuisine. The service, needless to say, is excellent at this sophisticated restaurant, and the vibe is geared towards opulence and luxury. Even the music is carefully chosen, done by the man who made soundtracks for Moulin Rouge and Romeo & Juliet. Romantic, no? So why not take that special someone somewhere ... special?
