A country boy from Berowra, Andy Evans begun his apprenticeship at Rockpool Sydney at 19. He went from toasting sarnies at Asquith Golf Club in Mt Colah, to working alongside luminary Neil Perry and other respected names in the industry. Evans chalked up nine years with the Rockpool team, crediting his compatriots with embedding a fierce respect for exceptional produce, innovation and creativity that continues within the Rockpool premium restaurant stable today.

Every dish in the Dynasty banquet was delicious and paired well with matching wines. One of the loveliest meals and dining experiences I've had in sometime. You'll definitely will eat your fill of beautifully cooked food, and have leftovers! Where we sat, the lighting was a bit low and dim for me, but intimate and romantic. The rest of the restaurant was lively which created a good balance, and the waitstaff were on point.

Great food in a super cosy atmosphere with excellent professional service. The spicy dishes (prawns, pork and chicken) are seriously hot so you genuinely need to like very spicy food if you order them, but there are other great dishes on the menu for those not so adventurous. It is one of our favourites and we will be back again soon.

What an incredible experience from the food, the venue, the service and the atmosphere.. I would go there more often if it was a little cheaper, however happy to spend money on great quality food.
