Food was delicious and promptly served. Service was amazing..really good value too. It was a bit humid so they lowered the blind so that we could sit comfortably.
Loved the food - so tasty! Food came out quickly which was great. But they forgot about our dessert order so that took ages and no one checked on us while we were waiting over 30 mins at an empty table for our dessert
Was way too hot no aircon food came out too quite felt we had to hurry up and leave even though we bought a bottle of wine would not return or would not recommend to anyone I’ll stick my usual Indian wanted to try something different but was left disappointed
The food was so spicy that it had to be returned. The restaurant should have deducted the cost of Dal Makhni which was inedible but had no such customer service concept and went ahead with the full charges. Having eaten Indian food all my life, this was definitely one of the worst experiences.
Nice area of Barangaroo, though it was quite hot since there was only outdoor seating and it was a hot day. Staff were lovely. We ordered the mango chicken which was delicious and the vegetarian platter had a nice selection of entrees.
Excellent location. Great atmosphere. Efficient and friendly service. The food was delicious couldn't fault it. Would definitely eat at Spiced by Billus again. Highly recommend it! Thankyou.
Lovely appetisers (recommend the spiced tiger prawns) and the naans were hot, soft and tasty! Friendly and fast service, thank you for a pleasant lunch experience. Will be back for more!
The position of the restaurant is good and food was tasty but we were disappointed with the service. We were totally ignored by the staff. We had to ask to order drinks then get the attention of staff to ask if we could order food. At the end of the meal we asked twice before our bill was presented.
The service wasn't great. Staff weren't attentive, had to ask for service. The waiter took all the umbrellas hooked on the ceiling down as we ate probably knocking all sorts of dust into our food one dropped onto a table next to us luckily nobody at it. I've been here before, service poor on this occasion. Food was lovely though.
Some food was nice though some meat dish was very salty. It’s very hard to call a waitress. They never come to you. You have to actively chase them.
Nice food. Great spot But food comes too quickly. All entrees and mains together. I would prefer to space my eating.
While it’s a little more expensive than your usual curry the ambience and food quality were excellent. Service was great - they didn’t charge us when we had to send a curry back because it was too hot for my mum!!
Excellent food and atmosphere. Highly recommended.
Very accommodating and friendly when we booked for 12 people but had to change it to 8 at the last minute.
Amazing service and amazing food.
Amazing food as always and great service
Excellent evening and such attentive staff
Recommend this restaurant
Food was delicious Lots of options for dietary requirements Banquet was good value and great food The staff put on something fun for birthdays... Will definitely visit again
The food was great and so was the service. Nice location with views, but would be better when it is summer. A little bit noisy, but otherwise really enjoyed the dining experience here.
7 / 33 Barangaroo Avenue, 2000, Barangaroo (NSW), Australia
Barangaroo, Darling Harbour, Haymarket, Sydney CBD, Sydney City, The Rocks
Contemporary Indian cuisine in Sydney’s bustling waterside dining precinct.
From the well established Billu’s in Western Sydney comes it’s snazzier, cooler sibling. Spiced by Billu’s still plays by the same rules - the North Indian fare is authentic, colourful and of course, delicious.
What differs other than the slight menu changes is the atmosphere - the space is incredibly stylish with strikingly bright textured orange walls that are great for the cheeky Instagram post or two. The dishes are beautiful, with the curries, kormas and vindaloos presenting a rainbow of colours for you to dip your fresh and toasty naan in.
Spiced is a winner amongst the big league players in Barangaroo - just come and taste for yourself.
Best dish: Brigade Goat - leg of goat cooked with fresh tomatoes, mint, coriander, yoghurt, fenugreek and flamed with Indian Rum.
