Nice quiet place to have a meal. Value for money with the fork festival deal. Polite service and yummy food. Would go again in the future. Close to Flinders Street Station

The restaurant was in the Mantra hotel and was not called Spire, which was confusing. There were not many customers. The food was good value for money inclusive of the discount but average at full price. The menu had a spelling mistake, "giner ale" is interesting.

Staff were polite , but in attentive. Long wait for service of drinks and food was cold when received.Disappointing ,we chose to just eat and leave without enjoying the evening.

Really nice venue. Convenient for the Arts Centre. Nice food and service too. Partner rated the steak and my pizza was pretty decent. Also enjoyed the Croquettes. Cosy modern atmosphere.

We ordered the scotch fillet only to be told they only had porterhouse. That was fine but the meat had inedible tendons throughout and was well done when we ordered medium rare. Not a bit of pink in sight. The entrees came out after the main and worst still the croquette were cold in the centre. It even took 10 mins of waiting at the entrance just to be seated. We used the fork 50% discount but even at that’s price it wasn’t worth it

The staff seemed to only care about the tables around us, which led us to an early departure. The first mixed entree was probably the highlight (squid, crocettes, arrianci & lamb all to great standard... then it went downhill. The prawn spaghetti was overpowered by chilli, the pork/veal meatballs was way overseasoned, and the menu stated the margarita pizza would have cherry tomatoes which it had regular tomotoe with core still attached and the base was quite soggy. Overall rating 3/10 , don't intend on returning.

I was really looking forward to trying this restaurant as I’m a local and live close by. The steak was super thin and so over cooked. The bartender/waiter was so keen to go home and was cleaning all around us. He didn’t clear our plates until I asked him. Very disappointed.

Restaurant part of Mantra hotel. Our meal was very nice but disappointed that two different bottles of wine we ordered were unavailable. The one we finally chose was wrongly described. Not many punters mainly guests having a drink. We enjoyed our meal but not an interesting venue

We found the restaurant was hard to find due to the fact that it was in the Mantra Hotel and no signs outside. We were there for a pre theatre dinner, the front of house staff were very good and the food was passable due to the fact that it was late coming and we had to rush.

Great location if you’re seeing a show at the arts centre. Early sitting so it was quiet which was lovely. Food was high quality and service was exceptional.

Excellent food. We were skeptical as sometimes hotel food isn’t great but this was excellent. We enjoyed the cheese board, saganki, quinoa salad, lamb shoulder, Nutella pizza and apple strudel. Great service
