The menu was promising, but overall dissappointed. The Paella was very oily and small. The dory fillet was cold and the roasted cauliflower was ok.

Cost was after 40% discount on the food bill. Staff were great , the menu was limited and some with me thought the food quality was average , although my meal was great.
Great food for the price we paid
Very noisy place as we were there on Friday, AFL parade. The bar & restaurant (dining area) should be separated due to the noise from the bar. Definitely not suitable for young kids. Food is ok but service is awesome.

Food was ok service good
They don’t even care about cleanliness or service so no chance of getting it in this place. We pointed to the staff that the table wasn’t clean and the answer was that it is just sugar that must have fallen out. Then he wiped it with bare hands and then we saw him serve food straight after without even cleaning his hands. We had to remind a few different staff about 5 times for our wine order after waiting for 20 min. The food was average at best. Will never visit again and cannot recommend to anyone, even with a 50% food discount from The Fork.

Presentation and quality of food was lovely. We had a combination of mixed entrée and side dishes for a large group booking which we shared. However, a bit pricey for the dishes. Atmosphere was great for a large booking. We were separated from the rest of the dining room which was great!

At Spoonbill, you won’t have a single uninformed bite. That’s right, the seasonal menu specifies where your food came from and why it’s great. They do modern Australian favourites like braised pork belly and seared duck breast, the usual Italian tenants like spaghetti and risotto, flavourful numbers to share like ribs, oysters and paella, as well as really nice burgers, sandwiches and fries. You’ve really gotta eat this place – oops! - see this place. Best dish: Olsen’s famous paella – a recipe devised by the artist himself
