The greatest pizza in Melbourne. An absolute gem on the tastebuds, very cool almost NY jazz feel, and very helpful service. Always a favourite to show visitors to Melbourne.
The place was great!
Delicious food and kind staff
It’s way too loud in the restaurant (the music), service was quite unfriendly but the biggest disappointment was the Salsiccia pizza - it was so bland and tasteless it’s probably the worst pizza I’ve ever had.
Laidback but still with an attentive service SPQR is refreshingly honest, appealing and great fun... best pie in Melbourne
Bloody beautiful authentic wood fired pizza! I’ve come from Bendigo 3 times just to eat this pizza.
Great pizzas and friendly service. Good options on the menu for vegetarians.
Amazing pizzas and great service. Thank you SPQR
Consistently good service and pizza. Awesome value. Vegan options!
Great pizza, as it should be for $25+. They have a great wine list.
I was met at the door by a cheery staff member who was happy to accommodate my request to sit somewhere quieter due to mild hearing impairment. This is always appreciated!
Great range of delicious pizzas and friendly service.
Excellent pizza, decent service. Thanks very much!
Great food and service. A lil loud but it was packed so understandable.
Music a bit loud at lunchtime
SPQR is one of my favourite Neapoletan-style pizzerias. Excellent bases and toppings, friendly and obliging service and great ambience. We popped in for a meal between Harry Potter and the Cursed Child Acts and were able to comfortably finish our meal within an hour, after which SPQR needed the table back. Will definitely return :)
Great food and quick too! Definitely a crowd pleaser.
The Jim’s Pie pizza is a must! Great, laid back service and a good vibe. The pizza crust is ridiculous, thoroughly recommend...
The pizzas are outstanding and there is an excellent variety
Very pleasant atmosphere. When I went there with a friend from work we enjoyed our pizza and the genial company of office workers. I’ve been here twice now and SPQR will become one of my regular haunts.

Pizza in 60 seconds
This spot is the place to go when you have pizza cravings. Located in the Melbourne CBD, SPQR Pizzeria has won over locals (and us). With small tables and wooden chairs, this spot is perfect to take a date (and hope they don’t eat all your pizza)!
The menu consists mostly of wood fire pizza, but they do have antipasti, salads and some mouth watering desserts. We guarantee you’ll be wanting to try the Calabrese and the Cotto Pizzas. Get it by the slice or the wheel, either way, you’ll be back wanting more. No pizza is complete without a glass of wine or kicking it back with a beer, so be sure to check out the menu.
