5.3/10After the mains came out, were completely ignored by staff. Waited 40 minutes to order dessert & coffee, gave up & had to go to bar to pay our bill. The dinning room was around half full with 3 waiting staff, so they weren't run of their feet.

Make the ‘Spready' Your Second Home!
There's hardly a shortage of pubs in Richmond. But we say there's no such thing as too many good pubs. And the Spread Eagle Hotel is just that — the type of neighbourhood gem where the bartenders likely to pour your regular drink before you even sit down. The Spread Eagle Hotel is full of locals who keep coming back for steak night and, well, just about any night. The atmosphere is what we'd expect from a neighbourhood pub: lively, casual, charming and sometimes loud. It's more than the setting and constant flow of drinks that keeps people coming back though. It's the food, too. There's plenty of classic pub fare — such as the chicken parma, fish and chips and porterhouse steak — mixed with a smattering of more refined selections. The ‘Spready' offers dishes such as slow braised spring lamb shoulder, chargrilled kangaroo fillet and eye fillet served with red wine jus. Pair it with your favourite tipple and Bob's your uncle!
Best dish: eye fillet
