The customer service is always excellent at Squires Loft and the steaks are really good too, some are on the price side, but happy to pay for a special occasion.

We have been eating here for the last 7 years or so and it’s our “go to” restaurant for a nice night out. If your looking for one if Perth’s hidden gems of the restaurant industry then look no further. The sides are superb and if a generous portion, while the steak selection is wide I would suggest to spend the extra on the higher end meat as it as always “melt in the mouth” Easily one of the best bar and grill steak houses in Perth.

I never paid the bill so I don't know how much lunch actually cost. The service great as was the food and the wine list extensive and I will certainly return. My only criticism is the size of the tables. To get 4 adult men at one table is a very tight squeeze.

All things moo When a steakhouse expands to 15 locations, you know that they must be doing something right. Squires Loft in Subiaco, the golden triangle of restaurant real estate on the West Coast, is just as popular as the first venue in the chain that opened back in the ‘90s in Brighton. Squires “steaks” its reputation on great food and unique flavours. The crowds that rock up to the Suby spot show that the owners are on to something. Naturally, patrons prefer porterhouse or other grills but Squires does cater for vegetarians or chicken eaters – so it’s a suitable space for all. Try the Angus beef short ribs – 400g or 800g options – that are slow cooked and basted and are provided as a tasty starter. Ahem, that’s right – a starter. Weighing in at 1kg, you could select the pork spare ribs for a main with chips or baked potato. And, if you can still chew, you could top it all off with ice-cream with Mars Bar hot chocolate sauce. Best dish: Wagyu burger – 200g Waygu beef char-grilled and basted then served on a toasted bun with caramelised onions, Swiss cheese, wild roquette, Roma tomatoes, chips and sauce
