Lovely ambiance when you first walk into the restaurant. It truly sets the tone on how the evening will go and straight away it put me into a relaxed vibe. The service by the waitress was fantastic, as well by the handsome waiter. Food was outstanding and I’m definitely looking forward to eating here again.

The greeting at the door was very friendly and the environment is quite subdued and dark. The service was excellent and our water glasses were never empty. The food was delicious.

Had a great meal with exceptional service. Crispy beef cheek lovely & chunky chips & salad yum. Coffee was also well made. Only item we thought not up to scratch was the parfait... stick to the lemon tart. Will be back :)

Lots of gluten free options which is amazing, was missing a bit more veg with the chicken breast. Slow cooked brisket was really good.

Great food with great service. Carpet next to our table had a musty smell. Similar to mould. I believe this was just in our spot as the place had a great vibe.

Atmosphere was great! Our waitress was really personable, attentive despite being busy and took the time to explain the day's specials. The Pork ribs were a little overdone but the beef brisket was tasty. Would come back again to try other items on the menu.

Both our servers provided excellent service with their warm demeanours and regular check ins! The waitress who served us initially showed thorough knowledge of the menu with her ability to answer any and all questions I had. We ordered the scallops and the vegan tacos to start with, and found both underwhelming based on the glowing reviews. The combination of ingredients in the tacos weren’t well balanced (dry and crispy), desperately needing the addition of some guacamole/vegan sour cream to tie the dish together. The twice cooked chicken breast was succulent, however if you’re expecting some crispy chips to accompany it, you’d be mistaken. The zucchini chips were sadly soggy, with a couple of them a little burnt. The saving grace was the red pepper purée - which added a reasonable punch of flavour to an otherwise slightly above average dish. The slow cooked beef cheek delivers on its promise for crispy - but if you’re not a fan of charred and smokey, I’d give it a miss. It manages to hold its composure until it reaches your mouth - after which it promptly melts. To finish our meal, we decided on the Panna Cotta of the day and the lemon tart. The peppermint Panna Cotta was safely innovative. The delicate mint flavour is complemented perfectly by the bursts of freeze dried raspberry pieces, although the choice for a maple syrup dressing is slightly amiss and unnecessary. It’s probably the only dish I would order again.

Small boutique café/restaurant/bar with top food, great service with staff who care and well located near the beach. Lovely atmosphere with a 1920-30s theme.

The food, service and cocktails were well presented. We were fortunate to be allocated a cosy and private booth. The pork ribs, calamari, brisket, beef cheek and buffalo wings were excellent.

Service was really attentive and friendly right from the start. I love the ambience of the restaurant. Lots of attention to details to the decor. Love the plush leather sofas. The candelabras. The food came out at a good pace. The dishes were cooked well and quite nicely presented. However, I just felt it was lacking in flavour, and all in their individual elements on a plate without something to tie it all together to make the whole dish pop or tasty.

Diner here with The Fork Festival for my first date night with my partner in a long time, What an amazing experience! The staff were warm and welcoming, and the waitress we had was absolutely lovely and amazing at her job. Check-backs for each course, always there if my drinks were empty, answers to any question and friendly to top it all off! There was one issue with my chocolate parfait. But the waitress resolved that prompt and professionally. Its rare that I find a place with such a nice ambiance, menu, staff etc. Will definitely be back!
