Fabulous
Made our anniversary warm and felt genuine warmth from staff. Delicious 3 course meal after having our wedding here 7yrs ago today can’t believe took us so long to return to this amazingly beautiful venue. Wines and scenery add next tier of quality. Thank you to Stillwater for contribution to our special Occassion after the year it has been
Incredible service, friendly staff, the views are stunning and the food was delicious worth every cent. Highly recommend this establishment.
This restaurant has 1st class food and value for money. Always refined snd very flavoursome. Great staff snd peaceful surrounds. All in all wonderful experience.
Each year when we are on the Mornington Peninsular we have lunch at Stillwater . We have had a meal in the restaurant , on the deck , and today , a tapas meal on the terrace . All great !
Excellent venue for catch up with friends. The menu offered variety of great food and wines to accompany. Excellent service and the wait staff were very friendly.
The staff were really friendly and made our night very special.
Food was great, venue is great, drinks could have been topped up more and we would have spent a lot more. We understand the place was slightly understaffed, so less attentive but lovely staff regardless.
One of my6 favourite places. Food always good and service is great. Worth a visit.
Have previously always been very happy with the service and food at Stillwater. The food today was good but 3 out of 4 of our sides arrived well after our mains and only after we kept asking for them. We had almost finished our main course before the children’s meals arrived. Part of our group had to leave before the children got their ice creams and even though the ice creams were commercial, pre-packed we had to keep asking for them too. Disappointingly overbooked perhaps?
Loved it except for the two hour limit. Felt pressured to order eat and pay and leave. Two fo us had the cauliflower for as a main and didn't like it otherwise food beautiful
Great food and wonderful outside terrace for extended lunch drinks Very good menu and also great spot for celebration lunch or dinner Reasonably priced too
Very nice ambience. Food was of very high standard. I know it is a vineyard probably would have a few european wines available to choose. Definitely would recommend. Table setting very elegant
Service and quality were excellent notwithstanding that they were very busy
Beautiful setting and superb food. A wonderful Sunday lunch. Couldn’t fault our experience. Friendly staff and a well priced wine list. The outlook across the lake is sublime.
service was pathetic, entres and main meals were delivered to the wrong table, bottles were taken away, which is okay, but had to ask 4 times for our wine to be filled ,told 3 times we had be out at XX, looked at her watch when we ordered coffee. food was okay will not go back. when paying the person did not even speak to me
This was our fourth and last visit! It was very disappointing, started with where we were seated by the door, we had staff rushing past us opening and slamming the door shut all night despite empty tables around us. staff seemed in a disarray and had no idea what was going on, no one offered us a pre dinner drink nor the opportunity to order wine. We had three wait staff come to us before we asked if We could order some wine. We ordered our meals, I ordered stuffed zucchini flowers and my husband crispy pork belly my zucchini flowers were the size of my little finger and if there was cheese inside I struggled to find it, it tasted like bland deep fried oil, the crispy pork belly was nice but there was nothing crispy about it rather chewy and rubbery. For mains I had the snapper and it came over cooked and the skin shriveled and was inedible. My husbands steak however was cooked well. Unfortunately dessert was just as disappointing, the chocolate fondant was raw and cold on the bottom. For $275 I expected so much more from this restaurant. Highly disappointing and with not return again.
The food had been sitting for some time before serving as the plates had been warming and yet the food itself was only luke warms. Secondly, the service was good, with a very large exception, a waiter came over and was extremely rude when he asked us for what we wanting for desert and at the point we had just finished our mains and enjoying the wine and the conversation. I asked for him to come back in a while but he kept insisting, after some time, I eventually had to ask him to go away politely, but he wouldn't leave it alone. This spoilt the night.
Outstanding in all respects. A truly memorable outing after months of confinement. Very much looking forward to our next visit. Can’t come soon enough
It was my first visit here and nothing was too much trouble, the food was both aesthetically appealing and delicious, the staff were delightful and it was a lovely setting to boot. We had a wonderful experience and afternoon, thank you!
The food and the atmosphere was amazing, very relaxing. Will definitely dine again soon. Ok

Stillwater by name, Stillwater by nature
Nestled at the foot of Red Hill on the acclaimed Crittenden Estate is Stillwater, a modern vineyard/restaurant showcasing the season’s best produce in a truly spectacular setting. Stillwater's dining room - with its panoramic windows capturing shimmering lakes, roaming ducks and swaying willow trees - highlights the relevance of restaurant's name. Simple white linens and bundles of exposed golden light bulbs keeps the interior simple, and helps to promote a classy-casual atmosphere. Using seasonal produce from the kitchen garden and local suppliers, the contemporary menu skillfully orchestrates simple and satisfying flavours. This is accompanied by an equally fulfilling wine list. The venue is something very special indeed, and has been named the 2013 and 2014 Winner of the RACV Victorian Tourism awards. Enjoy lunch with a view or book an event to inspire at Stillwater.
Best Dish: grilled duck breast, quinoa tabbouleh with smoky baba ganoush, broad beans & pomegranate dressing.
